Let me START off by saying that when i FIRST received this....waaaay back in 2021, I WAS HIGHLY IMPRESSED with all i got! This thing is an absolute CORNUCOPIA of additional attachments, stencils, extra bits galore....EXCELLENT! I immediately put it to HARD, DAILY use! I mean...this little gem has been my GO TO tool...for any number of tasks. Ok, fast forward to a couple months ago. I AM SO HARD on it..the power cord finally gave out. (SO shocked it didnt happen much sooner!) I politely emailed them...THATS ALL!!!! A SIMPLE REQUEST "TO HELP". I really didnt expect a reply! Well, NOT ONLY did this company reply Immediately with their concern and additional tips and tricks??? THEY JUST....SENT ME A WHOLE NEW COMPLETE ITEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All i had trouble with was the cord!! I mean...FOLKS? You cannot GET better customer service than that! IF I COULD GIVE THESE FOLKS 7 STARS...I WOULD..without an ounce of hesitation! I RARELY see this kind of knowledge and competance...anywhere else! BRAVO!!!! and .....THANK YOU!!

I tested out the product is soon as I got it. Here are some things that I noted. PROS -CAN BE USED WITH FRAGILE MATERIAL: I tested it on a Sandollar, which is pretty fragile and soft. On the lowest setting, I was able to carve designs without shattering the Sandollar, though it did take some structural damage in one spot. - CAPABLE OF SMALL DESIGNS - QUICK RECOVERY If the pen stopped working, it would run again if I turned it off, pushed the bit back into place, and turned it back on. - GREAT NAIL FILE The accessories for nail filing worked well on my natural nails. Have not tested it on acrylic nails. CONS - STOPS ITSELF OFTEN: Even though I wasn’t applying that much pressure for the Sandollar, the engraving pen would shut down because of overheating or the bit getting loose from the spinning. It shut down every 15 minutes more or less. - HAS TO BE PLUGGED IN TO WORK The pen has to be plugged into the wall the entire time. The cord is short, limiting mobility. NOTE: I haven’t tested the engraver on harder materials, such a stone or wood. So I don’t know if the pen would shut down more often when more pressure is applied. Also, it can be messy! Different materials will give off different amounts of residue. With the Sandollar, I was having to blow on it, consistently to keep the surface clean and clear enough for me to see my work.

Enjoying this new expression in creativity. The pen is comfortable to hold/grip. Have done Headphones, wooden lids, and my W.I.P is a glass jar at the moment (pictures added). A couple of “meh’s” with this device: 1. The cord is so short 😬😬. Having to be plugged in to work it would be nice if the cord were longer. 2. It dies FAST! Not sure if this is a defect in the one I have or if it’s just how this brand/model is. But for being a corded device I’m surprised how quickly it dies on me. Not overly upset at either con because I’m new to this and learning it. But as I get more comfortable with engraving and start doing more gifts for family, friends and maybe work, I know the stop-wait interruptions will get annoying 😢. Over all not upset for a “get your toes wet” device.

The attachments do not stay put because as you use the device the vibrations make them come loose no matter how tight you have them screwed in. Can't engrave a single letter or number without it happening. I've since tossed it back in it's box and threw it in the garage.
