The metal is a bit flimsy and gives a "cheap" feel when operating them. That's expected at this price point though. I needed a bunch of ratchet straps to secure woodworking machinery to pallets before a long move. These worked great for that purpose. I’ve got the XSTRAP STANDARD Ratchet Tie Down Straps, and they've been quite handy. I've used them for moving appliances and securing lawn equipment, and they’ve held up well.
