  • perfect match for the xreal glasses
Size: 6.497-inch(diagonal) LCD
I love it, its basically a phone i got the 256 no sim card option. it feels like a phone but works good for using the glasses. Only complaint is the mouse mode is hard to use on public transportation to skip stupid Youtube ads and stuff. you think you are hovering over the skip button and next thing you know the bus moves and you clicked else where! But The device is great, feels good. display is bright and clear, camera is great and the android store has some decent games that pair well with or without the glasses ... show more

  • Best Android device for AR or VR glasses hands down.
Size: 6.497-inch(diagonal) LCD
So if this is the best Android device for glasses why 4 and not 5 stars? Primarily its because of the nebulaOS. While I love the Beam Pro as a great Android device, as a XREAL designed device its lacking. Because they decided to base their OS for their glasses on Unity, you need to use a beefy CPU even to just stream while in their OS. You also MUST use the 8gig version as the video buffer is copied quite a few times between the Android OS, Unity and then to the texture on your AR screen. That said its not completely XREAL's fault here. Google has been really late to the game developing ARCore (Their own API) as just an API standard. What's worst is that they even haven't designed a front face for the Android device that works as well as say the Beam, aka, put The YouTube app in the upper corner of your eyes or have a super large Virtual Screen with multipole apps running. Its hard for a small company to completely rewrite the screen interface in Android since it also means they have to release the source code too. As for the device itself its honestly everything I want in an Android device. Both USB-C ports act as power delivery and this is the only USB-C based display port I have had NO issues using on anything (to HDMI or DP). The cameras are very good and the LCD is crisp. Its also very light weight. My only real complaint is power usage. If you use the Beam, as a portable Chromecast, it can last upwards of 3 hours. This device, at best, last 2. Mind you this is with the glasses in full use as well as the screen for touch pad. However if you do not use the glasses constantly, this thing lasts forever on its battery, almost 5 hours of heavy usage. All in all, This is a great device if you need something powerful for android with a good camera and lots of features and is now definitely my backup home device. In fact I would of switched to it as my primary phone if it had a phone chip in it. Who knows, maybe Google will get off its sorry ass and make a better display driver people can program in:P PS - While I harp on XREAL a bit, they ARE the best AR company by far. Even if its Unity, the fact they HAVE a decent API and software is a huge win. I have AR glasses from Epson to throwaway Kickstarter brands and they have, by far, nailed what average people want for AR..well currently atleast. ... show more

  • Experience AR with XREAL Beam Pro
Size: 6.497-inch(diagonal) LCD
I recently got to try the XREAL Beam Pro AR glasses, and they blew me away. They run tons of Android apps, so they’re great for both work and fun. The 3D cameras take awesome videos, and the whole experience feels really immersive. Running on Android 14, everything is smooth and works perfectly with all the apps I use. The visuals are steady, making them great for both work tasks and gaming. The controls are super easy to use, and I figured them out quickly. Plus, I can charge them while using them, so I can take my AR fun anywhere. Overall, these glasses are perfect for anyone who loves tech. ... show more

  • Not ready for Prime Time
Size: 6.497-inch(diagonal) LCD
Don’t really work that well. You need a lot of patience and figure out work arounds to make basic functions work. Amazon Prime looks awful when I connect to the beam but looks great when using an iPad. This product is not really ready for prime time - I would suggest just getting the glasses and use your own device. After a couple of months it still not ready for prime time. It feels like a prototype that was rushed out the house. The glasses are great but the Beam not so much. Not for anyone without a lot of technical expertise with devices. Went to watch NFL ticket on YouTubeTV and nothing. Beam or iPad showed nothing when I connect the glasses to either device. When it works it’s great but it is so frustrating to use. Wait a few generations for this product. ... show more

  • Fun but unnecessary
Size: 6.497-inch(diagonal) LCD
This thing is pretty awesome. It allowed me to view any app I could get on my android phone in an AR window, which was so sweet. However, the drawbacks for me were too many to justify my purchase. 3D photos and videos are cool. However, when that feature is turned off on the camera, the camera is very lackluster. Everything looks very flat and grainy when zooming into photos taken on the camera. The device is large, bulky and heavy. I understand many modern phones are, but I'm still rocking a note 10, which is half the size and more than double the power of this device. This device is NOT a phone. Honestly, if it were I probably would have kept it. The inability to put my SIM in it and thus have to carry another device that is bulkier than my phone and half as powerful is just unjustifiable for me. If I could have at least used it as a phone, for the price of $300, would have totally kept and used it. But I don't need another $300 toy that I mostly was using for GBA emulation on a huge floating screen. I'll deal with casting my screen to a TV. ... show more
