I'd been buying the TN-850 toner cartridges, but then I realized that the 12,000-page ones cost not much more. This seems to be a genuine Brother toner cartridge, and the first 30 or so pages I've printed are fine. Another reviewer commented on the fact that the cartridge he received had a black handle of one piece with the rest of the cartridge, rather than a separate green handle -- which he suggested was evidence that the cartridge he received was not genuine. The TN-880 cartridge I received has the separate green handle, and my previous TN-850 (8000-page) cartridge (from the Brother store) had a one-piece black handle. ... show more

So far I think these are great! Depending on when you order this product, the price can be cheap or a little pricey. I have paid between 68-100+ for this item. I have officially ordered 4 of these for my Brother HL-6200DW printer since I purchased it in December. I print a decent amount. I have just started using my 4th one, and I am ordering two more, since they are cheap today (~$68/each). Right before I installed the most recent toner (the 4th toner), I took a page count, of a how many pages I have printed. It told me that all in all during the life of my printer (which is when I first ordered my first one of these), I have so far printed 35,514 pages. So on average (for the 3 toners I have used up), I have gotten about 11,666 pages out of each toner. I would say that is pretty close to 12K page estimate that brother says you can get out of the toner life. So I would say I'm pretty satisfied with the product. It may be a little short, but not by much. Compared to other toner cost, and the amount of page number they yield, I feel like these are a pretty good deal. Most toners, I feel, never fully yield the page numbers they claim their toner can provide. This one I feel gets the number pretty close, and the cost is similar to toners that yield significantly less page number. Update (01/11/2019): I still like and order these toners frequently. Work well with my brother machine. Sometimes I feel like the toner runs out quickly. My machine has a work around on it where I can reset it read on the toner (I think it resets the number of pages the toner has printed) and it keeps printing with no problems. When the toner finally begins to die out when I do this reset, it is clearly noticeable by being slightly faded and the toner seems more scattered on the page. That is when I know it’s time to change the toner. But still can find these for a pretty good deal and prints tons of pages. Still happy with the product. ... show more
