So. I needed a small winch to help lord a project car on a trailer. The front tires would not hold air so that added to the stress. Used a double receiver hitch and a hitch plate. This little winch pull that car up and never looked back. I have to say when it was going up the ramps I let off the butting and it actually did not hold the car but allowed it to roll back. I just had to hold the button and watch it work. I wish the remote was not in the line of cable shot if it were to have a failure. But all in all this bugger did a great job for the money.

Using this product as a lift for game skinning, and it works perfectly. Installed a couple of pulleys and it works as well as a hoist. Any small ATV/UTV battery will power this unit. Very satisfied.

The product now works at a base level and is meeting my need. I mounted it to a 72" Denali UTV Plow kit with a 2" hitch adapter. The plow weighs almost 250Lbs. The winch cable had to be unwound from a bottom feed and rewound to top feed as the braking system would not work (The winch would lift the plow but not hold it up) apparently this is not an uncommon issue as it was all over many sites as a corrective action. Also sort of amusing, but the plate for the front rollers did not line up with the winch holes so I had to re-drill the front center plate bolt hole. Other minor issues like the mention of an in line circuit breaker, which was not provided, and I had to extend the control pad cables to reach the battery and the winch. All that being noted, it does work on mu Suzuki Carry with a front 2" hitch. Should be a fun winter.

Well, I just received the XPV AUTO 2500lbs Electric Winch 12V. It came in a simple cardboard box with preformed styrofoam for packing it! At this point, I have just unpacked it and inspected it! It seems to be a sturdy unit, but I did want to share a couple of points that concern me: - The instructions say that the unit comes with an in-line circuit breaker. The wiring schematic even shows it located between the remote control and the battery it is connected to. Unfortunately, there is NOT one included with my unit. The instructions also do not provide what amps or type the circuit breaker is supposed to be, so I don't know what I need if I decide to purchase one. - The unit says it has a one year warranty. The only problem is the instructions give no contact information for warranty service.....NONE! The instructions simply say to "Email our technical support to your online seller". I presume that would be Amazon and Amazon only warranties their purchases for 30 days. So, I'm betting this is really a 30 day warranty. - The instructions themselves are not very succinct or accurate. As an example, the schematic for hooking up the unit shows only red and black wires. In essence, there are red, black, blue, and yellow wires. I will have to take a chance that the red and black go to the positive and negative, respectively, on the battery. But, then, the yellow and black go to the winch terminals in what order? (Oh, I will call support! But then again, there is no support email address/phone available.) I am already concerned about this unit for the above reasons! Should I keep this unit, I will update at a later time!

winch is only good for 45 seconds winch time then you must wait 14 minutes and 15 to cool down. Hook would not go through roller fairlead so had to remove C clamps to dissect roller assembly and cheap C clamps broke. Then its off to the hardware to find replacements. You have to fix if before you use it.
