The winch does what I wanted it to do. I have a Honda 1000-5 and that's what I installed this winch on and it works awesome! This year we have had so much snow and I really needed this thing to work no joke. I installed it, very easy and bolted right in and aligned really well. I used it for plowing snow and lifting the blade, worked awesome with no issues. The blade is a 6-foot wide, fairly heavy and no issues picking it up and lowering. Just recently I had a chance to put it to the test. I was able to extract a Chevy Suburban from a washout. The vehicle was stuck with the driver side leaning to a point where the driver could not open the door and crawled through the window to get in and out. I started the winch and it really geared down and started pulling my rig even though I mashed the brakes. Although it was just enough to give the Suburban enough traction to find new ground. I pulled for a good 35 feet before he could back out on his own. Yeah, its worth every penny and I was impressed to see it pull out a full size vehicle! ... show more

Amazing I'll say. The last couple of time I went out I was really surprised how great it operated. This last weekend I had pulled so many guys out of the ruts, uphill and flip overs. We were shocked how the motor never got over heated and the cable/rope stood the strain and duration of the strain and abuse it took. I have went through quite a few winches and cables in the past and honestly this was the greatest. Thanks for the service I have gotten and will continue to get with it. ... show more

Great winch but few things you need to know. The yellow wire and blue wire for the in and out are extremely short . 3 foot long and limit where you can mount the solenoid. The switch is not a typical switch for the in and out of the winch . They have mount hardware to mount it. In my application I have no where to Mount it. This switch isn’t made to mount in the dash. So I had buy a 7 pin switch that can be mounted in the dash. If you have somewhere to mount this switch it will work but if you don’t the switch isn’t for you. The fair lead for the winch hook it comes with does not fit all applications. I also had to buy a separate fairlead roller. My application was 6 inches Center to center . This is for a four inch center to center ... show more

Would of been nice if winch wires were long enough should be 90 inches/instead of 3ft.....I bought another set($45) to complete the job..my selonoid is located in my toolbox on my Kawasaki prairie 650 . $45.00 Tusk Replacement Winch Wires 90" Blue/Yellow mx powerplay were used that was long enough to fit on my ATV..... would be nice if this winch company would reimburse me for my additional purchase.... haven't tried the remote yet..... ... show more
