I bought these for my simmer pot. The size of them are perfect but the scent is very dull. I have to use at least 5-6 slices to get a hint of orange smell. A bit overpriced for me to want to buy again.

I'm really impressed with these NPG Dried Orange Slices. The 5 oz jar comes with a lot of orange slices, making it a great value. All the slices appear to be good quality and dehydrated well, so they aren't sticky and smell good. They look beautiful as a cocktail garnish and would work perfectly for crafts or a simmer pot!

I originally ordered these NPG Dried Orange Slices thinking they’d be nice for cocktails and summer water (which they absolutely are), but the moment I saw them I had a different idea — why not use them for tea? We’re a big tea-drinking family and love citrus notes, so I dropped a couple of slices into our usual loose-leaf black tea… and wow, we were blown away. Within just a minute of steeping, the dried orange slices soften beautifully and release the most incredible natural citrus aroma and flavor. It honestly tastes exactly like those premium “orange-spiced” black teas from fancy brands — except this is 100% real orange, no artificial flavoring or added sugar. The scent fills the entire kitchen in the best way; it has become our little signal that it’s time for the whole family to gather for evening tea. There’s something so cozy and authentic about it. Of course in summer we’ll be tossing these into pitchers of cold water (they look gorgeous and taste refreshing), but right now they’ve become a staple in our tea cupboard. The slices are vibrant, evenly dried, and the 5 oz bag is very generous — we’ve been using them daily and still have plenty left. If you love real citrus flavor in your tea, do yourself a favor and try steeping a slice or two with your favorite black or herbal tea. You won’t go back to artificial citrus teas again.

I bought these to use in potpourri simmer pot packs. The slices look nice, but many arrived broken and they don’t really have any scent. They’ll still work visually, but I was hoping for more fragrance. The packaging needs to be better.
