The media could not be loaded. It was pretty self explanatory on the assembly. The instructions are a very poor English translation but you don’t need them anyway. I did buy normal concrete anchors rather than use the ones that came with it cause they are weird… but again it was super easy to put together and wire up. Stand it up, get your distance with base plate, level the masts with the shims, anchor the masts, move the baseplate, raise the lifters up to the first click, run cables and level them, run hydraulic line that connect masts, put motor/pump on, connect hydraulic line from pump to cylinder, wire it up, fill up reservoir with 2.5 gallons of fluid, put base plate back on, and fire it up.

I finished the installation of this hoist yesterday and I'm thrilled to have finally gotten one for my shop. I've been a mechanic for all of my adult life (I'm 70) and have wanted one of these all of that time. Bottom line; for the money, this is a good product regardless of its origin. Would I have preferred a U.S. made lift? Of course. But I simply can not afford or justify spending at least twice as much or more on one for my small home shop. Installing this lift had its challenges and if you are not mechanically inclined or have experience with electric and hydraulic equipment, get someone that is to at least help you. Most negative comments/reviews on this product (and probably any foreign made equivalent) are on the "instructions" provided with this product. I can agree, they are poor at best for something this complicated to install. There is a lot of missing information, period, which is why you need to have mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience to assemble this. Even the company video on YouTube is poor with the same missing information. There is one YT video I can recommend from Redline (who sells and installs floor hoists) that was VERY helpful in answering most of the questions I had on how to install this lift. Watch it. First thing; be SURE your concrete floor will support this lift. The description on Amazon recommends between 4-6" depending on how much you plan to lift. Those are MINIMUM requirements! In reality with something like this you are betting your life on, more and reinforced is better. I planned on a lift when I built my shop and had "piers" dug where this went that were probably at least 12" deep. The actual instructions cite 15" of concrete which is over kill for sure for a 10,000# lift but is probably to avoid law suits down the line. Second; the electrical specs cited on the Amazon description are 220V 30A single phase service for the 3HP motor on the lift. The provided instructions are unclear on this point, so if you aren't an experienced electrician, either hire one, or at least get the advice of one. Also, there is a safety switch provided that prevents the vehicle on the lift from going too high. No where in the instructions does it show you how to wire it. Be sure and call the customer service number and ask for that right off the bat, because this must be a frequent complaint as I had a color picture of how to wire it in a matter of minutes from calling customer service. Quality; while there were some aggravating quality issues like holes that weren't quite drilled properly and lousy instructions, this is a very solid and well built product. I have no concerns it is more than strong and safe enough to do what it is meant to do. The welding is good, the material is very sturdy and the paint is well done. The test is how long the pump and motor will last. But it lifted my 4,500# minivan with ease and all systems worked as advertised. Unless you have a forklift that can lift 1,300 pounds (or an equivalent machine) you'll need to have this delivered to a freight terminal that can load it on your trailer or truck, which is what I did and it went very smoothly. The company that sells them handles all that for you if you request it. But you'll still need something capable of lifting the components off your trailer after you have the package disassembled enough to separate the two main big parts. This thing is HEAVY! Everything with it is heavy. You WILL need at least two strong people to lift these columns off the floor and steady/position them in the shop. Again, watch that Redline video. He has lots of good suggestions on that. Customer service; so far, the contact I have had with their customer service has been excellent. I ended up talking with the same lady every time, but she always handled my concerns quickly. Usually in a matter of minutes. If you call and no one answers, she will call you back probably within an hour whether you leave a message or not. I had the lift in my possession in about a week from the order. In closing, my opinion is this is a good tool for a home shop. It's a 4 star rating for the issues I stated above. If I was a commercial shop that would be using this tool every day I doubt I would have bought it. But for my use when the heaviest thing I lift will be my 5,200# pickup, I am very happy with this purchase. So far. Ultimately, time will tell.

Very nice lift. Have had my grand Cherokee, X3, and 330i on it so far and no problems at all. The instructions are good, convert the metric to inches and round up to the nearest inch. Measure from back side of the plates and it will set up perfectly. To dial in your lift left and right put some weight on it then let it all the way back down then evenly tighten the cables. I did this by hand going till there was even resistance on both sides repeated a few times and it lifts and locks perfectly even. I did not use the supplied anchors. I went to home Depot and got a box of redhead 3/4 anchors it takes 10 of them so one box will do.

So i ordered this lift right before christmas. They actually shipped it fedex freight. I had a place to send it to with a forklift, but fedex is down the street. Changed it to willcall, picked it up and had the lift fully assembled and standing a few hours later. You really dont need much of the directions, dont over think it. Lift is amazing quality, and yes it might be a little scratched from shipping, but come on, even my floor jack is beat up. Look past that and you will be happy about this lift. It is very heavy, so have 3 to 4 friends over to help. We unloaded the arms and hardware out of the pillars, lifted it off the trailer with an engine hoist, them stood it up near where it was to be bolted to the floor. If you are doing this as a home install, an extension ladder and a 10 foot ladder would be best. We anchored the left pillar first. Put the second pillar in place, but not bolted down. Manhandled the cross bar up, then leveled the second pillar. Rest was straight forward.

The lift is very poor quality nothing fits correctly bolt holes are off on main beams a half of inch or more . The directions suck to say the least I would send it back but too much trouble to take it back apart.

I got my lift almost nine months ago. I just got around to cutting out the thinner floor in my garage and pouring 10” of new concrete. After giving it sufficient time to cure I scheduled a local business to install it. Once done, they tested it. It went up but didn’t come down. They told me it must be a bad lowering valve, packed up their tools and left me hanging. I wasn’t about to leave it that way, so I used four ratchet straps to pull it down. That took about an hour. After some research, I learned that there was a valve on the pump motor that I could turn CCW to speed up the rate it comes down. Loosened the retaining nut, and used a hex wrench to give two full turns of the adjustment nut/ bolt. Came down nicely with no load and that gives me a starting point to fine tune the descent rate. I hope this helps somebody. Overall very happy now. Four stars for no mention of that in the instructions.
