Just like in the picture. I found it easier to install just the light base and post to the electrical box. Not very heavy. Then hang the glass structure with the 3 hooks. That is the heavy piece. Do not tighten the glass panel screws too much. I left a bit of play. They do not look tempered (not hardened glass) and may crack if the screws are too tight. I had to use a tester to figure the ground, hot and neutral. The tag had slipped off. I got 12 pack of dimmable E12 Candelabra 4 watts LED's at w almart (60watts equivalent), soft white, clear . I put on a dimmer. Its bright with 6 bulbs. The fixture design lets the light out from every angle. I got a box of 12 LED's because LED do not last long and I planned to have them on 10-12hrs a day. Real happy with the purchase. They provide cotton gloves so you do not leave fingerprints on during assembly. It is a brushed silver, matte, as I hoped. Not shiny. ... show more

I had conceded defeat in looking for an interesting light to put in our foyer that gave you a sense of arrival and then I found this light! >STYLE the pebbled glass is very shiny and thick enough to not easily crack. I think it actually kind of matches our door, but is still modern enough to remain when we update the front door with something else. Also there aren't traps/ledges for dead bugs to accumulate. >SIZE This is the 15.7" silver light. Our foyer has a regular height ceiling and most stylish lights I find are for vaulted ceilings. We replaced a drum type lamp with this chandelier and I think the difference is this one is just about an inch lower. Its still high enough to walk under without ducking. >BRIGHTNESS The wattage required is no more than 40W per candelabra -type bulb. We used LEDs with the equivalent of 60W each (but truly it only draws like 8W each so no fire risk there) and its very bright! (the phone camera wants to darken the overall picture so you can actually look at the lamp). >ASSEMBLY/ INSTALLATION was very easy and actually so much fun. There weren't any sharp edges and the packaging made it easy to lay out and grab one part at a time. Make sure to use all the little washers. Installation is also a breeze because you install the silver base and afterwards easily place the ring with grass via three double sided hooks. Easiest ceiling light I have installed in over 50 something lights. Honestly I can't say enough how much I enjoy this light! The lamp is built well and works great; it is well worth the $120 price tag. I would buy it again. ... show more

Like most chandeliers, this will require some electrical knowledge and possibly a second person to help with installation. It's just not safe. Design requires you put glass parts with screw, and it broke few weeks into usage. Very grateful kids were not there.

It provides plenty of light, atmosphere and was very affordable. This is also easy to clean. This was very easy to install, took maybe 30 minutes.
