These were perfect for my bedroom. I bought the linen colored curtains. The neighbors keep lights on all night and these curtains block it all out. The only downside is sleeping in because it’s so nice and dark!

    • ACTUALLY Blackout, but chemically smell, especially for first week or two

They are a little smelly when coming out of the package - a chemical smell, which I really don't like. There is still a light residual smell after awhile, but these are the only curtains that are LEGIT blackout curtains. I tried a bunch of other light color "100% blackout" and they barely dimmed the room. I ended up buying these for every bedroom! These are dark enough that even though the bedrooms get a tremendous amount of bright sunshine the majority of the day, I can easily sleep in (even though I am really sensitive to light). They seem to stay wrinkly. I used a steamer and it helped though. I also don't feel the drafts from my windows, helps with noise reduction from outside and I LOVE that they come with white backing -- since HOAs can mandate that kind of thing for window coverings. My only wish is that they weren't chemical-ly and wish they were made in America. Very clearly China which allows toxicity in products. :/ ... show more

These curtain are worth every penny. I have french patio doors and need something to block afternoon sun and even that little bit of cool that you can feel in the winter. They have done exactly what I needed them to and look great with my decor.

I have two windows in my bedroom, and get the morning / afternoon sun. Since i'm a plant guy i love the amount of light i get, but am also a light sleeper, and prefer my room to be darker when sleeping. As many of the other reviewers state, fabric of the curtains are great quality. It does a great job with diffusing bright light while not being too thick or heavy / attracting heat. I also hung these on an industrial looking room darkening curtain rods, to help bring the curtains around the corner, to really block out the light. Easy to install, and definitely worth it. I purchased the stone blue color, which i'm really happy with as some other reviewers mentioned the other blue option looked too much like denim. ... show more

These blackout curtains are perfect. I only ordered two panels, and that’s plenty for this bedroom. You can hang them so they touch the floor for a full blackout, or add more panels if you want a fuller look. The quality is excellent—they’re a bit heavy and thick, but still easy to hang and slide across the rod. No trouble at all getting them up. I’m really happy with them. ... show more
