    • Wow! Light weight and packs a punch
Took the new battery out of the box. Volt tested it. It held at 13.2 vdc. I then hooked up my trickle charger. The next morning when all the “fully charged lights” were lit up, I unhooked the charger. I tested it with my voltmeter again. It held at 14.1 vdc. Installed it in my Lexus, let the computer run its install, pushed the starter button and the starter motor spun over faster than normal. Went out for a drive and noticed two things immediately. The headlights were brighter and the throttle response was quicker. If you take into consideration that with a standard lead acid battery at 12 volts the high tension coils fire the spark plugs at 150,00 volts, now with the new battery with 2 more volts the spark plugs are going to fire with 175,000 volts. This makes the throttle response much quicker and will burn the fuel air ratio much more efficiently. Never going to buy another lead acid battery again. ... show more
