Female: 5’7 this bed is good for anyone 5’7 down. If you’re 5’8 going up get a twin size xl. I wish someone had commented about this when I was searching, so I bought it blindely. But if you know your height I do hope this piece helps! While this futon is pretty good, it’s not very thick but also not thin. Futons are meant to be used with mats underneath them to make them more comfortable. They keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. BUT The storage bag is the reason I am not to satisfied. It completely just popped right open (even the zipper unfolds on its own, that’s very annoying). It tore within a month and a day, I know how to fold futons, logically to fit the storage bag. Non the less that material is thin and the stitches are absolutely not strong to store. I don’t know if they can send another bag or not.

It was reasonably priced, much cheaper than a traditional mattress. I live in only one room, so it's more important for me to have a functioning office during the day, whilst the futon is rolled up. At night I roll out it out and the room becomes a bedroom again. Great for small spaces. The comfort is like a very firm matress. I also appreciate the zipper covering that came with it.

I bought this to use as a guest bed in my apartment for when my friends visit. The queen was the perfect size for me and my friend (small, 5 foot 2 gals) to fit with extra room in between. It is thick enough to cushion the carpeted floor and provide enough back support to not have us feel achy in the morning. The matress cover is kind of a pain to put on by nyself (think of slipping a very large pillow into a pillow protector), but it smooths out after a few fluffy. I did have to wrestle the matress into the bindings a bit but not too difficult. The bag that the matress came in to store is almost useless because it won't zip up all the way and busted a little bit at the seams when I tried but I'm not too worried about that. Overall a good product, it is a good quality and value for my money and I am happy with my purchase.

Clean, good quality, beautiful design (feathers are iridescent which was a nice surprise). Size was great. It just wasn’t very firm and I really needed it to be. It was intended to top a soft mattress and double as a guest bed. The cover is really nice, and it comes with a carrying case (burlap) with a really nice strap.

We turn a room in our home into Japanese style bedroom and this shikibuton and colour fits the aesthetic well. I was really skeptical since it wasn’t traditional but it decent price that I couldn’t pass up. Instead of waiting a couple of days I laid it out immediately after receiving and after a couple of hours it look fuller from opening. Definitely comfortable for me and well worth the price. This is not for everyone to use considering it would be used for.

I wanted something for the second guest room that wasn’t an air mattress and was easy to store away when not in use and I came across this and I’m so happy I did! I slept in it the first night to try it out and it was weird at first sleeping so close to the floor but I got such a good nights rest and it’s super cute to put in a minimal style room and it will be useful when we get extra guests and need another bed we can pull from the closet.
