Please be sure to read all of this. I ordered the 12" full size futon mattress with memory foam. I received the 10" version with pocket springs. I contacted Royal Sleep's customer service directly. It was a lovely experience. Office manager Nancy exemplifies customer service. I was offered many options with kindness, courtesy, professionalism and generosity. I will definitely continue to do business with and highly recommend them. That being said, I am very satisfied with the thickness, support and comfort of the 10" version that I decided to keep. The longevity of the mattress is TBD, but the initial quality is affording me some good quality sleep that's well worth the money.

This item literally has no assembly, just remove from the plastic and it’s ready for use. I appreciate this item with the futon extended however, closed and uptight, it is not functional. It’s too thick to fold on its own and stay folded. Again, with the futon opened, this thick mattress is very cozy and I could easily sleep on it.

So comfortable! The box was left out in pouring rain for several hours because of UPS error. I was afraid futon would be ruined so contacted customer service. They responded immediately. Ends up futon was exceptionally well wrapped so no problems. Futon is well made and so far my houseguests love it!

I don’t like that all tufted areas are showing white thread and not black like it shows in advertisement and loose threads I may be sending it back and I noticed the foam part is not exactly like pictured in advertisement online it’s just batting on spring coils with half inch foam and not the egg carton foam as advertised I will be sending back. The foam inside is not like the advertised look I paid for

I have to say that i have tried many different types of mattresses. From Japanese floor mats to name brand pillow tops, from air beds to memory foam, this was the only one that helped my bad back and got me sleep.

I have two other futons that I am very happy with. This one is very difficult to get it to "fold" to accommodate sitting on the frame. May consider returning it if it doesn't conform.
