This was the second one I received. The clips that were included to attach the base did not fit the with of the device in the first shipment. They quickly sent a replacement. I was able to attach the base but it's only good for using the suction cup to the windshield. Also the sun cover for the screen falls off very easily. Thirdly the maps are old. I wanted something that was ready to go. I believe you have to contact them to access an update for download. ... show more

It's a very good GPS, but I bought it as a gift and it did not meet the recipient's needs for an RV. The voice command seemed low, but it may not have been hooked up properly. The display is great.

80% accuracy, 90% ease of use, 70% screen resolution quality & colors, 100% reliability after close to 2 months if use. All in all, happy with purchase but had to returned the 9” as it’s too bulky for a sedan car windshield, halting at night and may also posed as a car break-in hazard. Nothing wrong with the 9” product but without a sunshade provided isn’t complete since it’s so sunny and can be glaring to view in the afternoon. Thanks supplier. ... show more

I am overall reasonably satisfied. It has way too many features and yet it seems to be missing rudimentary items - being able to save locations, finding places - way too fussy about upper/lower case in the search box, I'm in Cabo so the road accuracy is as good as google or apple maps, so this isn't an issue. I really struggle trying to input a location and have it find that location. ... show more

Someday this GPS may rival Garmin, TomTom and the other big names, but not today. It is a world wide attempt to provide GPS information accurately, but falls short of this standard. I have spent over a month trying to communicate with a highly intelligent and friendly team at Xgody in Hong Kong, but my 1990s Tech knowledge and their 21st Century Hi-Tech vocabulary and logic also failed to find a common ground. To get the free annual updates requires downloading a huge file of every global community in the world, then going back and deleting the 98% of countries that the user is NOT interested in, then additional technical program editing is required to get the new update to run. Unlike the big names, the user cannot simply log in and download the updates with Xgody. Also, the "how to videos" are unprofessional, provide conflicting information, and generally useless to an older American mind. If you are into 2021's high tech programming and the use of world wide "not-so-helpful" community of users, this device is for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere until this company learns how to actually service American end users. And, eventually, I hope it will. ... show more

I got this to try and replace an aging garmin. I entered all of my truck info. (Height,weight,length,width) and I used it on a route I usually run. I spent most of the time avoiding roads that were clearly marked as no truck roads. The screen is clear and the maps look great. Another big thing is that with the speaker turned all the way up you can barely hear it. I drive a newer peterbilt that’s fairly quiet and I still could barely hear it. So ya this would be great for a car but will most likely get you into trouble in a big rig. ... show more
