Should I Buy It?

Based on the reviews, this AMD video card seems to offer exceptional value for money, boasting superior performance, enhanced features and impressive build quality. If you are a serious gamer or require a high-performing graphics card for your digital activity, this could be a fitting choice. However, it might be worth checking your system configuration first to ensure this large card can be properly accommodated. Keep in mind that the increased power consumption might lead to higher energy costs in the long run.

  • Amazing Performance and Visuals
Style: RX 7800 XT Magnetic Air
Right out of the box, It has been absolutely amazing. I’ve been playing Elden Ring, Monster Hunter, Risk of Rain 2 all on Ultra Settings. Wow. It really blows my XFX RX 6650 XT out of the water. The performance and price can’t really be beat. I got mine for around $500. The price gouging is insane now…. ... show more

  • This card is a beast!
Style: RX 7900 XTX Magnetic Air
This card is a beast. Paired with a 9800x3d this card absolutely destroys any game you throw at it. The price to performance is fantastic, only being outdone by (maybe) the 7900xt. The graphics quality in every game I've played has gotten a steady 120+ fps on ultra settings @ 1440p resolution. The fan installation is a breeze and almost not even with mentioning it's so easy... Simply drop them in place and the magnets make sure everything goes where it needs to. It's a chonky, heavy card so make sure the case you're putting it in is large enough. I installed mine vertically so I wouldn't have to worry about using the (not great) provided brace that comes with the card. If you install it horizontally make sure you purchase a better brace, preferably one that connects to the back of your case. This card is hungry. The power draw under load ranges been 360w-380w with spikes up to 400w, especially if you overclock it. For the most part the card runs quiet. Temps generally stay between 55°c and 68°c with the hotspot Delta ranging been 11° and 18° higher. Use the AMD adrenaline software as the stock fans curve isn't that great. If you're looking for a fantastic card that provides a wonder price to performance ratio then this is absolutely the card you want. It's great, runs quiet, and 24gigs of vram! Don't hesitate! Pull the trigger and bring your gaming to a whole new level! ... show more

  • Everything I wanted.
Style: RX 7900 XT Black
I've had this for over a year now and it's been great. The drivers come out consistently and it runs my games like a dream. It has more than you need of V-RAM. I run Helldivers 2 native 3440×1440 and get over 80FPS consistently on Ultra.

  • Annoying card coming from Nvidia.
Style: RX 7900 XT Black
EDIT: review updated to 1 star. I confirmed the game stability issues was indeed caused by either the graphics card, or the driver support for it. After removing the 9700 XT and putting my 3060 Ti back in the crashes immediately stopped. Games went from crashing every 30-60 minutes on the 9700 XT to zero crashes after 10 hours of game-play on the 3060 Ti. It's worth noting as well that these are games I logged hundreds of hours on using my 3060 Ti without issue, and that the crashes ONLY started after using the 9700 XT. This was on a fresh Windows installation as well; all old drivers removed. I bought this to replace a 3060 Ti. The 9700 XT does absolutely pull way more frames, but at a cost. After going to AMD I've had a ton of issues with my local AI generation, and by issues I mean so many compatibility mix ups it just doesn't work; the Nvidia card handled AI flawlessly. I've also had crashes on games I play which were not an issue on my 3060 Ti. I had to stop playing one of my new titles because the last crash corrupted my Windows installation. There's been other instances of games randomly pausing and hearing the monitor disconnect sound, then resuming fine; presumably more driver crashes but I'm not 100% sure on that one yet. Another problem is when I have other video memory apps open along-side games, such as a video editor, the game runs noticeably more sluggish, even when the editor is doing nothing. I never once had this issue on my Nvidia card. If I don't find a resolution within the next week or two this card is getting bumped down to 1 star and is going back. ... show more
