2024 Honda Ridgeline Trailsport I ordered this when I decided to get the Ridgeline. It arrived the same day as I drove my truck home from the dealership. The bed cover from the dealer was $1,200.xx and this was slightly over half the price. Good value. Now the disclaimers…. I am not being paid I am an old mechanic and yes I have every tool under the sun and a few I made for myself HOWEVER I only used the tools that are in the pictures. They are: 1/4 inch long handled ratchet, 3 inch long 1/4 ratchet extension, 1/4 inch drive hex bit socket, t-30 bit, 5 mm hex bit, a Husky brand small hex ratchet from the Home Depot (optional but handy) and one standard box knife and one additional human to help move it and get the actual cover on the bed correctly (humans not pictured as neither of us are photo friendly). That’s it. Everything you will need to do the job properly. Ok, now for the process. The instructions not that bad. They are your standard slim brochure style “here is the general idea you figure it out from here.” Not too detailed however not that bad. I want to pause here and say that the manufacturer must be reading the comments because some of the issues that are stated in some comments have been corrected. Such as the screws being too long for the lock tabs and gouging the bed paint. They flipped them at the factory and that fixed the issue. They also include a strip of self adhesive seal that has no place in the directions, however as you can see in the picture and if you read the other reviews I put some of it in the gap at the head of the bed where others have been using black caulk. Ok back to the install… 1) Unpack everything into the bed as I did and inventory it against the directions. 2) Knoll out the parts into the order of assembly. 3) use the T-30 bit, 1/4 inch ratchet, 1/4 inch extension and 1/4 inch drive bit holder to remove one and only one bed side bolt at a time. *do not remove them all or you may have an issue fighting the bed liner as you go to assemble it with the new bracket *please note that there is a rubber seal on the bolt. I placed mine back between the new bracket and the bed liner to achieve a good seal still. 4) when you place the bracket on the truck that will be holding the bed cover side rails slide them all the way down till they are resting on the bed at the bottom but still flush on the back. *see my pictures* this makes them square to the top of the bed and the holding bracket has enough adjustment in them to install them perfectly. 5) loosely install the bed cover screw down brackets about 9 1/2 inches from the front on the bed rails *you will have to adjust it later* 6) install front drain caps on bed rails 7) loosely install the front and rear bed rail clips 8) place the bed rail on the clips with the “L” channel OVER the bed *see my pictures* 9) hand tighten front and rear rail clips 10) install middle rail clip 11) make sure rail is all the way to the front of the bed as far as it will go. 12) making sure that the bed rail is tight against the top of the bed tighten all three clips down *I did middle, front of bed, back of bed in that order.* 13) repeat process for second side 14) cut small self adhesive seal material to fill gap in bed liner top near front of bed and install. *see my pictures* 15) have spare human help you place cover at front of bed behind cab and get it in proper position for fastening it to the rails. 16) lay in bed and align the screw hold blown brackets with the holes in the cover. 17) drop bolts through cover and brackets. 18) lay in bed with 5mm hex bit, 1/4 inch ratchet, 1/4 inch extension and 1/4 inch drive bit holder and tighten down the cover screw down “L” brackets. 19) screw down the provided knobs to hold down the cover and install the hairpin clips 20) attach the safety straps per the instructions *see my pictures* 21) test closing the cover and tailgate. *adjust if needed* 22) slip the drain hose through the bed tie downs *see my pictures* *NOTE: the hoses are longer that the previous reviews on here so I believe the manufacturer has changed them based on our feedback, however I still do not like the loose routing of them and will be designing and 3D printing a better solution most likely some form of magnetic routing clips. Once it is done I will post it on Maker World.* I am a bit odd and I have issues so I torqued the screw eye bolts so they were all the same gives it a cleaner look and yes it makes me feel good. Hope this helps someone in the future. It’s a really good cover and so far has been durable, increases security of the bed, and has kept the water out of the bed. I think it also looks good too. Amazing Value, Easy Install, and Looks Fantastic!
I was looking for a hard folding cover to secure my gear without spending a fortune, and the Xcover absolutely delivered. I was genuinely surprised by the quality for the price. Installation: Seriously Easy DIY I had this thing installed in about 75 minutes by myself. The clamp system is simple and rock-solid once tightened—no complicated tracks or adjustments needed. Just clamp the rails, drop the cover in place, and bolt the front section. Security and Quality Materials When the tailgate is locked, the bed is completely secure. The polymer material is rugged, scratch-resistant, and easily handled heavy distributed weight when I tested it. It’s not 100% waterproof (no cover is), but after several heavy rains, my bed stayed about 95% dry thanks to the seals and drain tubes. Sleek Low-Profile Look The cover sits inside the bed rails, giving it that super clean, almost factory-installed, low-profile look. The matte black finish is sharp and matches the truck perfectly. Verdict: If you want the security and aesthetics of a premium hard tri-fold without the premium cost, stop searching. This Xcover is highly recommended!

Low profile, aluminum panels
Just installed the Xcover low profile cover on a 2024 Ridgeline. This seems like a good quality cover but wasn’t as easy to install as the video shows. Also my cover has a small dent on the underside which at this point I guess I’m going to live with. The box had a hole in it so it had something poke it at some point. Also the passenger side at the seam had a small bend which I tapped on carefully with a hammer to flatten it out. 600 dollars is expensive to me but I didn’t like the covers that sit on the top on the bed sides and I do like the look of this one just wish it had been packed a little better.

Secure and dry truck bed
Received and installed on my 2023 Honda Ridgeline RTL Installation was easy enough even with crappy instructions. Fits well and in a hard driving rain it did get damp in one area near the rear driver’s side gate hinge and the drain lines not their fault as Honda’s drain holes could be better. Bottom line very satisfied and would purchase again.

Looks great
Very easy to install and it looks great on my truck but I am not real happy with the rubber seal where it folds over, looks like at any point in time it could just crack wide open, it has some pretty serious wrinkles where it folds up

Looks good but...
Mostly I bought this cover for the clean look, versatility and security it provides. It was delivered promptly and in good shape. Hats off to the Prime delivery person. I hope he/she had some help because it’s a heavy lift for one person. As for the review; I gave it an overall four stars. Here are the reasons why it did not get the five stars: - The instructions were ‘lacking’. I am talking about a four-page document, and two of those pages were parts breakdown. The written instructions were vague and the pictures reminded me of the old J.C. Whitney catalog. I started to doubt the hardware would fit on my 2020 Honda Ridgeline. The title was throwing me off because its states ‘(#69)Honda Ridgeline 2017-now). This could have been written in 2019 as far as ‘now’ is concerned, and models always have a slight change each year. So I decided to put away the instructions, and wake up the intuition brain cells. I checked Al Gore's internets, and verified the fit. In the end, I wound up taking off the cover twice, no easy task, in order to get it mounted right. - The final fit was a big problem on my truck. There was a huge gap at the tailgate, and this is without putting on any of the provided weather stripping. The front looked great, but the back, nope. Turns out that the cover was resting on the ‘tongues’ (see picture), and preventing to fully lock down. I tried bending them, with no success. Finally, I got out the Dremel and cut-off the tops. The cover locks in place, and looks flusher. Nevertheless, there is still a slight gap on the driver’s side. Not sure why, unless my tailgate is bent, which is highly unlikely on a new truck. The only options is to remove the rear weather stripping, which the tailgate is resting on, or just live with it, and hear my wife bring it up every time we go for a ride ( -ai Dios!). Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and would recommend to my friend, which I wont because I do not have a friend with a truck. Enjoy, and drive friendly.

Well built, heavy duty and heavy, had a issue and company stood behind product and warranty.
This is a heavy duty cover and very heavy. Seems to be well built, however time will tell. I had a soft cover on my old pick up for 12 years. Still works, starting to wish I bought another soft trifold. Anyway, installation instructions are terrible, found a youtube video that helped me. Not a simple install and it should be if the installation instruction were better. Note the instructions were generic and wish they were specific to my Honda ridgeline. There were extra parts in the package for the ridgeline so you have to figure it out. Also there are 2 safety straps (which are a good idea) but they are not long enough to attach to anything so I had to make extenders. Those are my issues as of now. Seems like a decent cover. Update Feb 2025 - Raised my rating here, based on the excellent Customer Service from Amazon and Xcover. The cover had started to rust, not sure why or how. I reached out to Amazon and Xcover, and they had me send pictures, and shipped me a brand new cover as under warranty, 2.5 years later. Very pleased with some of the new features and updated instructions. They had addressed the strap problem I mentioned in the original review. Companies standing behind their products are few these days and really appreciate the fact that they did. New cover is installed and very happy customer.

No instructions, missing parts
The item itself is well built. But it’s missing parts. I do not have the rubber strip or the sponge pad. They call it letters. I and J. I could show three key pictures to show and example of why their instructions are literally worthless but Amazon dues not alllw more than 1 pic. And the instructions have use of English that dies but make sense and illustrations where it dues not show the orientation. You will need to watch a video or just mess with it and figure it out. This company should replace their design crew and hire competent people to make to assemble instructions for their customers. Also the rubber underneath in I assumed would three section on each side, flashed w an 1/2” overlap as you close it. Its just one piece the length of the bed, mine is brand new and has permanent bends in it where ur was folded. The rubber does look like it will hold up to folding over and over fir years, it will crack at the teo points you fold. Avoid this design, get the style that is one panel and three separate pieces.
