We got this little fireplace stove for the ambience factor. We don't have a fireplace, and that hygge feeling was just missing. we went to those fancy stores and I just couldn't bring myself to pay thousands for one with a water line and dedicated circuit. Those are cool, but out of our priority budget. Looks and price were more important than heat output. I would say that the heat output is good. I don't love the heating fan sound, but it sounds exactly like a space heater. What I wish it had was a crackling sound to it. That would step it up a ton. I put my bluetooth speaker near it and put a log crackling sound on the bluetooth speaker and it is so much more enjoyable. (That is my #1 recommendation for whatever electric fireplace you choose.) I like the several color options for the bed and the flame. I wish there was a more relistic yellow flame. The yellow has green and other non realistic colors in it. I don't need as many flame speeds, as anything below #3, is just not realistic. I do like the little plastic nugget rocks. It gives a nice look. The dimmer is nice to get just the right amount of light in the firebox. To me, the timer is unnecessary for my needs. I can turn it on and off easily with the remote. The remote is pretty cheesy, so we shall see how long it lasts. The buttons on the inside can be out of reach for kids, with the screw key, which is nice for young families. We don't need that, but it's nice to have. While I can see on 3 sides, the sides are less realistic than the front, so you may prefer the lattice on the sides, which gives a hint of fire, but you can't then see how unrealistic the flames are. Everything was packaged and shipped well. No chips, dents, or scrapes to the unit, which would have been an automatic return for me. For the price this is great. I would not go any smaller. And, if they have any sound in the future, that would be a stellar upgrade. ... show more

Super nice. The flame looks virtually real. Its well made, looks good. Works great too. It has several settings and several colors for the logs and flame with in natural scope of a log fire. It can also be dimmed with remote control. All setting can be set with the remote control. I'm really happy with my purchase. I highly recommend it. This fireplace is smaller than I had pictured, but the dimensions are clearly on the webpage. The quartz heat was excellent, and I loved how realistic the fire looked. My problem, and I sent it back, is that it doesn't have a thermostat. I need to set it to 70 degrees, and it stops producing heat. It does have a timer, but that doesn't help me as I use it in my bedroom overnight. LOVED it, but if you are looking for a heater with a thermostat in it to set the desired temp, I would look elsewhere if you want heat and ambiance only - perfect choice! ... show more

I enjoy everything about this fireplace except the remote. It seems hard to use since the door covers the buttons. Not really a big deal since it has a timer that goes up to 8 hours. As for heating, it’s best used in a small enclosed area. It’s lightweight and comes preassembled except for the legs. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this heater for the living and dining room areas of my house. We live in an older home, and recently, our central heat went out unexpectedly. In a house that has no insulation, it gets colder inside than out. I decided to go ahead and purchase this heater hoping it would make any sort of dent in the cold inside temps we would have this winter. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfy this little heater makes the front of our home. Not to mention it’s super cute and aesthetically pleasing. The set up was quick and easy. The colors of the flame and flame bed can be changed to suit your liking. We tend to keep it on a more realistic-looking flame setting. But, the options are neat. There is also a flame only setting, so we won't have to put the heater away in the warmer months. We can use it to set a mood with just the flame. This would only be made better if it had Wi-Fi capability and the ability to have it auto-on and off or set a schedule. We love it. A great purchase. ... show more

Bought for our sun room here in Kure Beach, NC. We are starting to get cold nights in mid 40's, down to mid 30's. Give it 15-20 mins and takes out the chill, after 30-40 mins, very comfortable. Remote Control very good response, to get out the chill, we turn fan to full level, really does a good job. Easy to assemble, just attach the legs, Five minutes, and that is it, was packaged well.
