Have not fully tested the capabilities of the cable yet. Just a basic connection between the TV and cable box and between my Sony soundbar so far. The biggest issue why this might be the only cable I buy of this brand is how super stuff they are. It's almost like there is a thin coat hanger type wire in this cable (I know there are real wires inside for signal.) It is far stiffer than any previous cable I have used. Especially the kind that would be fabric coated to be a bit more premium. At $10 it's ok, but wish the site that recommended it would have noted how stiff they are. Maybe if you need a stiff cable for plugging in to a mounted tv or device. A rigid cable might be helpful. I got this as a test cable for a bunch of cables that died in a surge incident. I need about 6-7 more premium content/data cables. Likely will look at other brands.

I needed a 30' long hdmi 2.1 cable to match my new receiver, although my TV is only on hdmi 2.0. My old 30' monoprice cable couldn't handle the signal between my new 2.1 receiver (it worked fine on my hdmi 1.4 receiver) and my TV so I took a gamble on a non-active hdmi cable. 1 week in and everything seems to be running fine, but I don't have a TV or display to really test above hdmi 2.0.

4K @ 120hz confirmed good with this cable even at 20'. Unbeatable price, this is what a cable of this quality should cost. I've seen a couple reviews complaining about the ends "not being gold" but that's a misunderstanding. (I believe) It's not the grounding sleeve of the plug that's 24K gold plated it's the tiny pins inside the cable that need a low-noise connection to push this kinda bandwidth. This cable is definitely excessive if you only need 4K @ 60hz or less bandwidth but if you've got yourself an 8K @ 60hz or 4K @120hz screen, this is the solution you need

I purchased this cable to replace an older 1080p cable for my projector. I was worried I wouldn’t get true 4k at that length. Once installed and powered up I am seeing 4k 2160 video. The cable construction was very good and I appreciated the tough outer jacket.
