The media could not be loaded. First of all, I will say their customer service is very nice. They not only always respond to my email soon, but also help me solve the problem very well. Both me and my wife bought the stove heater, but we only need one. In fact, I got very angry when I knew my wife also bought one, because I think it was a waste of money. I contacted the customer service right away and told them that I already bought a heater at their store. My wife bought another heater because she didn’t know I’ve already bought one. I quickly heard back from their customer service and that surprised me. I didn't expect them to reply so soon. They gave me two solutions in the email. Me and my wife finally decided to take one of the solutions after a discussion. I decided to keep the two heaters since the temperature is getting colder and colder at night. In order to help my parents to sleep well at night, we decided to give one heater to my parents. Also, another problem we faced is that we are about to move. Due to the COVID-19, my friends around me are complaining that everything they bought on Amazon took so long to arrive, and sometimes they even receive damaged packages. I searched help from the customer service and asked them if they can deliver the products before I move. I received their reply at noon on the following day. They told me that there is a warehouse near my house and they already arranged my package will be sent to my house from this warehouse. It made me feel very intimate. Sure enough, I received these two packages before we moved, and they were well-packaged. There was no damage to the box. After I moved to the new house, I couldn’t wait to open one of the boxes. When I took the heater out, my first feeling was that the heater is very light, not as heavy as I thought, and it is almost a complete heater. All I need to do is to put four feet on the bottom and I only need a screwdriver to help me set up. The set up was very easy, and it only took me about five minutes. Then I turned on the heater, I was amazed as soon as the heater was turned on. I thought this was going to be a very ordinary flame, but what I didn't expect was that this flame looks very vivid, just like a real flame. Moreover, all three sides of this stove are made of transparent glasses. You can see the realistic flame instead of being black like other stoves even if you were not standing in front of the stove. I think it is a really nice design. In addition to this, another design that really surprised me was that the switch is hidden. The switch is near the bottom of the stove. When you closed the two front glass doors, the doors will block the switch, and the switch will not affect the overall aesthetics of the stove. So I think it was a really detailed design. I decided to put this stove in our bedroom because I found the brightness of the flame is adjustable. So the heater won't be too bright and will not affect me and my wife's sleep. And if I want to go to the bathroom in midnight, I won't stumble over anything else on the ground because of the light of the heater. Another very important reason is why I chose to put this stove in our bedroom instead of the living room. It is because the living room of our new home is very big, so putting this stove in the living room is not very effective. However, I can feel the heat very quickly, when I put this heater near my feet. I strongly recommend purchasing this product. I think this stove heater is the best product in this price range. The doors feel cheap. The magnets on one side don’t work to keep the door closed right. It does work well and isn’t hot to the touch. It does smell a little when I use it.

The media could not be loaded. Just got this and set it up tonight. Initially I was annoyed that the dancing flame-like lights would go for one second and then abruptly stop and reset and then go again. It was jarring and not at all relaxing. I took out the six screws to lift off the top and found the problem was the spinning spindle that has reflectors that create the flame effect had too many of the reflectors in the same direction and they needed to be bent a bunch to have more variation. Overall I am really happy and feel like I got my money's worth. Pros: * All of the buttons are hidden away -- you have to open the cabinet to push any of the buttons. This helps give the unit a vintage, minimalist look that I absolutely adore. It's one of the most realistic-looking electric heaters I've seen. * thermostat -- always a must * two wattages -- this helps run in an "eco" mode and pull less power * you can run heat only, the lights only, or (my favorite) both Cons: * there is no main "power" switch. This means that in order to effectively turn OFF the entire unit, you have to operate multiple buttons, which could potentially be dangerous. It does have overheat protection and I still think it works great, but it is something to be careful about while you're using it. Other things to consider: * this was a tiny con for me personally, though not a dealbreaker and a matter of taste/preference/sensitivity. It's not the ultra-quietest unit I've ever had. It's pretty quiet, lower than a conversation, but if you're sitting in a silent home office like I am, it'll be quite noticeable. I doubt someone sitting on the other side of a zoom call would notice it kicking on. I'm sitting with it and can still hear it kick on when I play music at a normal volume. I think it's fine for the amount I paid for it, but I would have preferred it to be a tiny bit quieter. * this was a pro for me but you may want to note: there is no remote. I actually like this because I don't want another tiny remote to track, but you may feel differently. * some assembly required. You have to attach the feet (3 screws for each of the 4 feet). It was pretty simple, took me maybe 5-10m while I watched tv. I'm happy to put in that much work to help keep costs and shipping lower. * while the exterior of the unit is very vintage-looking, the fire effect could be a bit more realistic-looking. I've seen better ones, but they're about 3x the cost of this unit or more, so again, I feel like it's perfect for what I paid. I have already turned off the lights in my office and just left the lights of this heater on and felt the cozy, warm winter vibes. ... show more

My fault in not realizing this does not come with a remote. After I get all settled in and have two dogs on my lap, I don't want to have to get up to change the settings, so a remote is pretty important for me. When the blower is on (which if it's putting out heat, it is on) it is pretty darn loud. I thrive on silence so having the constant noise of the blower (not quite as bad as a hair dryer) is not really what I was looking for. Pro: It does heat the half of our family room I am working in well. Also, no timer/auto off. That can be a big issue if you leave the room and forget it is on. ... show more
