You MUST add 10W-40 4-stroke motor oil before the first start. Running without oil — even briefly — permanently damages the engine. This is the single most important step before first use. What age and weight is the Thunder 40 for? Ages 3–6 years old. Maximum load: 70 lbs (32 kg). Seat height 22.46 inches. Adult supervision required at all times. If child is near 70 lbs, choose a 110cc or 125cc model. Does it require oil mixing in the gas? No — 4-stroke engine runs on 87 Octane unleaded only. No oil mixing required. Fuel tank: 1L. Can this be shipped to California? No — EPA certified, not CARB certified. Cannot be sold or shipped to California addresses. Does the headlight work? The front headlight is decorative only and does not illuminate. Outdoor daytime riding with adult supervision only.
