  • Surprisingly solid, electrical issues, mechanical skills needed.
UPDATE: Seller sent me replacement wiring and bike works perfectly! Thanks Motopro!!! I’m surprised at how solid and sturdy the bike feels for how cheap it is. Basically I know what I’m getting into when I spent $1500 on a street legal motorcycle from Amazon and that’s why this bike earns 4 stars in my opinion. It looses a star for me because brand new I have electrical issues and quite a few. The bike thinks 1st gear is neutral, it will turn over in any gear (only supposed to in neutral), the front left turn signal doesn’t work due to a short not a bad bulb (when the ignition cranks that bulb lights up). And the blinker relay failed on the first day, probably because of the short. So now I have no blinkers. But again what do you expect for the price, this hike was cheaper then my electric assist mountain bike! My next point is I’m an HVAC mechanic by trade so I have a lot of mechanical experience. AND YOU NEED IT. If you don’t understand car/motorcycle and engine mechanics you will struggle, there is no directions for assembly. When you receive this bike use medium lock tight on every nut and bolt you install and check the tightness of the factory installed pieces. Adjust your valves, idle adjustment, and change the factory oil. I’m 5’11” 175 pounds, the bike is a great fit! Very comfortable seat, I’ve got the bike up to 55 mph on a straight away. Cruises pretty good at 45 mph. The motor is nice and quite, I personally don’t like super loud motorcycles. I received my paperwork to register the bike within less then a week of my bikes arrival. It has a great look. I decided to remove the stickers. This is my first motorcycle and I’m happy with my purchase, the manufacture was fast to respond to my electrical issues. I’ve asked for a new wire harness. And I will update you guys on how they take care of the issue. I would recommend this bike to beginners who are mechanically inclined. It’s fun and I love it. ... show more

  • Absolutely WORTH the investment! RECOMMENDED
The media could not be loaded. I would buy this motorcycle again and absolutely recommend it to others. PROS: -Great build for the street and very reliable for moderate trail riding -Unbeatable price at $1850 to get NEW it street legal bike. Though it lists for $1500 the real price is about $350 more BUT you can’t find another bike for this price. (sprocket upgrades, new carburetor, title, registration tax...) -Smooth clutch, smooth shifting, and solid brakes -Great looking bike, mine has been mistaken for a KTM, I consider that a compliment -Incredibly easy to assemble and maintain, even for a novice -80 mpg -Virtually every spare part is readily available here on Amazon -Disc brakes on front and back -While it’s no Japanese bike it will begin to give those bikes a run for their money because of its price point -I weigh 200 pounds and with the 17/45 sprocket set up I got this to 76 mph showing in the speedo while driving on the road (slight down hill) CONS: -Even with a 17 tooth front sprocket and 45 rear sprocket there is a lot of vibration over 45 mph -stock rearview mirrors are plastic and not usable for legitimate street driving -Delivery is a two-step process requiring you to contact the shipping company to coordinate pallet delivery -Extra tools needed: torque wrench, socket extension, C retaining clip pliers, valve shims. Absolutely requires two people for assembly or a motorcycle jack-stand -While the owners manual is written in proper English it gives little to no direction as to assembly order and details -Analog speedometer that seems to be less accurate the faster you go The pros definitely outweigh the cons and so this is a super deal. ... show more

  • Go ahead and order. Trust me.
If you're reading this you may be like me, reading through the reviews to see if it's worth it. I'll divide my review into parts. Shipping and arrival: Although watched youtube videos and went through countless forums about this bike, I was a little nervous to buy a motorcycle through Amazon. I ordered it to my mechanic's shop, and the delivery was extremely fast. The title and paperwork came in quicker. There were some things I needed help with, and regardless of the time they were attentive and responded in no more than 10 hours- a particular shoutout to Lynn L, best customer service I've had on Amazon. There were no defects or damage from the shipping. I rode it straight to the DMV to register it, and everything went smooth with the paperwork and manufacturer thing that you need for the title. I couldn't find this exact model on Geico's list of bikes, but Progressive had this exact model which made setting up insurance easier. Bike itself: It doesn't have a lot of power, but it isn't necessarily slow. The fastest I've gotten it is 63 mph. I'm 6 feet and 205 Ibs, and I love the height of the bike. It's tall, and sometimes at lights I'm holding it up with my foot bent. I live in the city, and just needed something to commute to classes and work. I love it so far, and if that's more or less what you were looking for then this is perfect for you. However, I stick to 45 mph roads, and would never ever take it on the highway or any road over 60. It has great mileage, and is like $3 to fill up. It manages rough terrains well. There were some hiccups in the break in period, but it has been dependable so far. The bike feels solid while riding, but is very easy to swerve and maneuver. It would definitely be good for a beginner. The best part, is I left it in the shed for a while to visit family for the holidays. When I got back, it started perfectly after 19 days of sitting. It's a fun bike to ride. Other thoughts: There are some things I will change to get more out of the bike. The tyres are a bit cheap and can be better, and I'm going to get a new battery, sprocket, and carb. I forgot to mention, the oil it comes with is pretty bad and I would change it asap. The idle screw is also tricky and the bike tends to overheat if you don't tune it with the weather. The break in period was rough because the shifter lever kept getting stuck. Specifically, going up to second from first. It got stuck on me many times in traffic, but after around 200 miles it hasn't gotten stuck again. Note though, that the hotter the bike gets the harder it is to shift. I think that's about everything I can think of. I was nervous and thought I may have been impulsive to get it, but I am beyond satisfied with the bike. Literal bang for your buck. To conclude, if you just need something simple for your commute, or if you're a beginner that wants to get into bikes- this is the bike for you. Don't overthink it, just get it. ... show more
