  • BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!!
UPDATE: We’ll ladies and gentleman, the time has finally come. My better half and I have finally parted ways, after 1,350 miles of absolute good times! She was great to me, and she never let me down. I installed a big bore kit on her to bump her up to 100cc’s. Let me tell you that really brought her alive! I also wired pod lights from Walmart that are 1,200 lumens to her front end and she really light up the night after that. The absolute star of the show! I recommend to anyone to put a big bore kit on one of these, as it made her driving experience a million times better, and we already know how amazing the rode before. I like to think of it as this, not a goodbye but a I’ll see you with someone else’s rear end on your nice seat someday. I can’t wait to hear the wonderful joy’s she brings to the next owner, I know she is in good hands. I sense a slight tear rolling down my face right now as I type this out. Until we meet again scooter community, you guys have been so good to me and I can’t wait to get myself another 2 wheel machine one day. To anyone reading this, please read my in depth review about her when she was all original. It is a truly heart warming review. Goodbye! Boy oh boy where do I even start. Just because i am more of a half full rather than half empty kind of guy I'll start with the bad side. To begin, this company was an absolute horrific company to deal with. It took me a month to get a notarized title so I could get it registered and on the road. After lots of headaches and nightmares, I finally got Amazon involved and they gave the company 4 days to send it to me or else I got a 100% full refund. Before I knew it 2 minutes after I got off the phone with amazon I got an email from this company saying it was shipped! I was just about as happy as a camel finding an oasis in the middle of the Sahara! Three days later I received the title in the mail! I fueled myself up with pure happiness and marched myself all the way to the DMV! The $170 to get her on the road certainly burned a small sized hole in my pocket, but the amount of pleasure she has brought me totally trumps the expensive street legalization fees! Fast forward 10 weeks later I now have just above 700 miles on it and it runs like an absolute WORK HORSE!!!! I haul around my 235 pounds self and another person anywhere from 120-200 pounds! THIS THING JUST WANTS TO RUN!!! It fires up flawlessly, with absolute ease like a freshly sharpened knife slicing through a butternut squash. I let her warm up for 1-3 minutes depending on the weather, just because I like to be nice to her. When I twist that throttle, she goes nice and smooth, somewhat like the flow of the Mississippi river. She sails real smooth on any roadway I take her on and she NEVER talks back. She can cruise on flat ground at about 40-45 miles per hour, and with 2 up she'll do a pleasant 35 miles per hour. Don't even get me started on the brakes, as they stop on a dime and I can't help but smile from ear to ear and she gracefully comes to a stop at any rate I decide to slow down at. I put my full trust in this thing, so much so that I took it 150 miles across the great state of Pennsylvania! Not to mention, this thing is an ABSOLUTE chick magnet when those girls see myself and another hefty fella riding on the rear around town. I have a laundry basket bungee corded to a dish drying rack that is secured with roughly 26 zip ties! My roommate and I load that mother humper up once a week with $110 of groceries and she loves every second of it. My one complaint is that my passengers have a slightly sore rear end if the ride exceeds 25 minutes. It's not that big of a deal, considering all the wonderful things this moped has to offer it can easily be looked past. I do wish it had a reliable phone holder if i am being honest. On my way home across the state I hit a bump at 40 miles per hour, resulting in my phone going soaring through the sky and my mouth was agape. I was absolutely devastated. I turned around, fought the one way traffic as I traveled against the grain and retrieved my phone. i got home changed my oil and she was ready to go again!! You know what they say oil is the best warranty!! As you may be able to tell I am very passionate about my beloved moped that I refer to as the Horse. She never lets me down, and she treats me better than I could have ever asked for! She sits in my living room because I feel bad leaving her in the cold weather. I definitely recommend this to ANYONE who wants a solid form of transportation. Not to mention i get 100-150 MPG depending on how much she misbehaves ;). CAN'T BEAT THAT!!!! I hope this review does someone well, I really tried to cover every aspect of this machine. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! YEP YEP!!!!! I LOVE the way she rides and she knows I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I will update this when I hit 2,000 miles!! For now, TA TA!! ... show more

  • My saving grace
Oh man... This moped is gonna get some love. In july of 2020, i moved unexpectedly to florida without any vehicular transportation. I was on a deadline, and needed to get back and forth to work. I was only going to have a ride till the muddle of September, and needed to act fast to get on the road. Having no credit at the ripe age of 23, i couldnt get any car from a dealer, or find any off the book sales to get me on the road... Deadline aproaching, i took to amazon and the internet in the random errant hope of finding something that could get me wheels up asap. What did i find? Mopeds! I browsed for weeks over the different brands. Tao tao, vespa, x-pro... Some were sketchily low priced, some were way to expensive for the measly 1.5k i had in my wallet at the time. After speaking with a local scooter repair guy, and was told to avoid tao tao like the plague i rolled the dice on this bike for about 930$~. And ooooooh man... Was it an amazing choice. The shipped the bike to me via R&L tractor trailer with a lift-gate, and arrived in a wooden crate bolted to a metal cage. Most of the bike was already assembled, save the steering collumn, front wheel and brakes. After putting it all together, hooking up the battery... I noticed that the bolt to hold the front wheel on was missing. :( Kinda freaked out about what to do, i hopped around to home advanced auto, O'Reillys and a bunch of other automotive places (including that scooter shop) to no avail for the part i needed. I finally found the bolt at.... Lowes, of all places, in their hardware section. Bike fully assembled, oil change, some lucas and running like a DREAM, i named my bike "Marilyn on'road". Marilyn for short. (if you get the double i love you.) After the HEFTY registration fee, sales tax and horrendous florida upcharge, my final registration fee and plate fee was about 236$. Bringing my total to get her on the road to about 1.2k$. I have driven this girl for nearly 2k miles, and NEVER had an issue. At 130 pounds, on flat ground and the wind at my back i have hit 75mph (buried the needle) down the highway and easily can keep up with traffic after about a minute to get up to speed. She doesnt argue and takes you where you need to go. About 70% of the bike is storage space. The glovebox/cupholder peice in the front perfectly fits a pair of bluetooth speakers that allow me to play loud music down the road, so i can be heard in situations where i would otherwise not be seen. The seat opens up to hold a helmet, and a few odd and end accessories. It also is the access to the idle adjustment. The rear storage box that bike comes with is optional, but in my opinion mandatory. Its made of a very maliable and easily bent plastic, but strong none the less. There are two hooks on the bike: on the steering collumn and on the seat between your legs. These are meant to hold purses, groceries etc. I have traveled about 20 miles round trip with about 300lb. Of music equipment strapped to this bike with 0 issues using ratchet straps, bungie cord and sheer determination. Never put up a fus. My average cruising speed is around 45-50, but it varies based on the road and weather conditions. Be aware of something when buying this... You WILL feel the road. Even on the softest setting, the shocks are very stiff and will knock you around if you are on a beaten up road. You dont command this bike, you work with it. If you have her back, she will have yours. The mirrors are fully adjustable and removeable. They twist on, and have a tendency to come loose if they are not tightened down hard. A wrench and an extra pair of hands come in handy for getting them set just right. This bike is EXCEPTIONALLY light. It can be picked up and parked in tight places much like a bicycle can with the kick and drop stand. (for those cases where parking spots are minimal and you need to make room for others) After having dealt with florida drivers, my rear brake pad has started to wear down from many emergency "oh shi-" moments, but i can firmly say that when you stop, it will STOP. very firm, and sudden if you are not careful. There is only one gear, as this is a belt driven bike. The HUD is very strange and simplistic, but it gets the job done. The primary measurement of speed for the speedometer is in kph, and the way it is illuminated is with the headlamp through a slit that lets light in. All in all, my marilyn is wonderful. She introduced me to the wonders of bikers, mopeds and everything inbetween and has shown me freedom i never knew existed. Not to mention, shes a damn hard worker... Love this girl. Get you one! ... show more

  • There is always something to fix
Would I suggest to buy this scooter? Well, if you’d like to be a mechanic and wonder every other time if it will start then definitely yes. To befin with, when it arrived, it had flat tire so I needed to wait extra week to receive a new one and change it. It stopped starting after I had about 150 miles on it. The support sent me new carburator, air filter and fuel pump. After I changed everything (and hey, I’m a 25 yo girl who wanted just to ride scooter and have fun, not all this), it was working for another 300 miles. Now my speedometer doesn’t work and I need to figure out if it’s speedometer itself or wire, and change it of course. Ah, and as a bonus - every second time, to start my scooter, I need to spray carburator cleaner into carburator(yes, open air filter, spray, close), otherwise it cranks but doesn’t start start. I have no idea how much longer I will be able to use this trick because it starts now harder and harder, and the worst part - no one can give me solution w its seems like all the parts should be replaces or smth.. ... show more

  • For being a 49cc scooter it does great up hill even with me being 250lbs
I use it to get back and forth to work and it has pretty good pickup and go and with me being 6ft 250lbs this thing still moves very quickly and going up hills it’ll stay at a steady speed without slowing down it’s a great machine and gets you where you need to be and it was very easy to assemble

  • Runs good and is faster than advertised.
I saw a lot of negative comments about this bike. However, I was able to find a video on the assembly and it seems to run really well. I had it up to 50 mph and I'm over 200 pounds. So far, so good.

  • Great little Moped/Scooter
You need to know a little something about assembling machinery to finish the final assembly of the bike. However, once assembled (with help from a couple of Youtube videos) it runs well and is lots of fun.
