I wasnt completely sure about this bike it was for my son he was on a pw50 but it was getting to small. he rides mainly are yard wich we have a decent sized yard and fields and trails. Fist impressions it looks nice definitely bigger then the pw50 fits him much better he is 52 inches tall but he will definitely grow out of it quickly it's a cheap bike to get by for a year or 2. Pefomace wize its slightly faster the the pw50 not a lot but enough to please him and make his mom nervous. Now the reliability is were there are some issues if you are not mechanically inclined this is not a good choice I think it's great that it has isues because I'm using it as a learning tool for my kid to learn how to fix and keep things runing getting his hands dirty so far multiple fasteners have vibrated loose. It wasnt quite running like it should way to rich of fuel air mix dropped the needle down one position that made a big difference runs much smoother and better throttle response and starting. The carb wasnt geting fuel at one point was a clog somewere in the fuel on off right on the carburetor got that cleaned out The suspension is quite cheap and flimsy and way to stiff for a kid I'd say even for me at 150lb. but you cant expect much for the price. All in all I think it's a great play yard bike and a fun machine to learn mechanics on parts are insanely cheap to purchase and there is a lot of modifications you can do to make it more powerful if needed but if your looking for something you can give your kid and forget about doing anything think again but for me and my kids it was worth the buy. One issue straight out of the box was the front brake rotor was bent the company was quick to reply and help resolve the issue though. ... show more

You get what you pay for. You need some mechanic skills because it takes a lot to keep it going. The good thing is, it’s easy to work on and the parts are cheep.

Assembly took time. We thought we were missing some bolts but found them underneath some of the fenders. Took a little more time than anticipated but turned out great and our 9 yr old son can easily handle.

1st all I’m adult and the bike is for me. This my 2nd mini! By far xpro hawk 50cc is impressive! Hard fairing! Nice tube racing frame! Shiny paint. Good frame and padded seat! It’s really the size of a 70cc pit bike! Love the horizontal motor. The bike is nice. I haven’t started it yet, however the bike is a visual mini masterpiece! (I finally rode it and it ripped. My eyes got all watery. Two stroke don’t engine brake!!!) I looked the bike over and it is assembled with quality. If you looking for an affordable mini 2 stroke don’t sleep on this bike. This bike is a baby 2 stroke! Don’t let the mini size fool you. I’m 6ft plus and 200lbs and I can fit the frame comfortably! It’s so clean I don’t even want to start it! My plan is to mold it into a dual sport sumo mini bike! If I can master the jetting and tuning it’s a easy five star affordable mini motorcycle and worth the money! Came with manual tools gear bottle! Nice big knobby tires, full of air. Nice strong swing arm. Not flimsy. Pull starter is nice. Shock is adjustable. The bike overall is well designed! There is only so much you can get out of an air cooled motor! I will say handlebars need to be swapped and stronger handlebar clamps. ... show more

    • The Good The Bad The Ugly
First received the product front brake caliper was broken. 12 hrs of riding and the chain broke. Brakes are hard to keep tightened. Both problems were fixed immediately only thing was chain was different had no master link. Good leaner bike for those youngsters but poor quality. Don't think it will last that long. Kept breaking, clutch went out almost immediately and after that was replaced, we still couldn't get it to work. My 12 y/o son was only able to ride it 3 times. To the company's credit, they sent out parts and video chatted twice to try and help fix the problem. They were extremely friendly and clearly wanted to fix it. I received many phone calls from them and they were always willing to help and send parts. Ultimately they did issue a full refund and the bike was returned to them in the original packaging. ... show more

    • It’s a starter bike pros/cons
This second bike I bought of Amazon the first one was from another company the bike was junk and I had to send it back 3 days before my kids birthday. Ordered a bike from xpro it’s showed up a day late but it worked out because it’s was delivered right after my sons party from opening the box I noticed the bike was packaged with care not damage the bike frame was built good had some good welds the bike built very good now the cons the tires are very small actually the same tires on my lawnmower trailer the bike will not go in lose dirt only very good packed dirt the bike carburetor was defective but it still ran for very short periods of time they sent me a new carb got it within 3 days the bike runs great now . It’s worth the money but be prepared to upgrade tire size in the future ... show more
