I bought my Magician last summer - knowing full well the risk buying the lowest priced 250 dual sport bike available. If you are expecting to jump on this and ride it - look elsewhere! If you have no motorcycle maintenance or wrenching experience- look elsewhere! This is NOT the bike for you! If you are ok tinkering, knowing you are going to have to replace stock parts and LOVE a challenge - consider this. YES - it is cheap and comes partially assembled on a pallet. You have to know where and how to assemble - as there are NO Instructions. Common sense and experience are A MUST! Once you get it assembled- change the oil immediately - don’t even start it. It has a switch on the kickstand to prevent you from starting with the kickstand down, you must put the kickstand up to start or remove that option. Expect some damage in shipping and possible missing parts. Contact the dealer and they will help you. I have changed parts and updated to make it a better product. When assembling the bike - lock tight EVERY bolt and screw - seriously take the time and do it to ever nut and bolt on the bike. Even the ignition switch and speedometer bolts - this bike’s motor is not balanced and it vibrates when you ride it! Check every bolt after each ride. Next - upgrade the front sprocket to a 17tooth and get a better chain. Next, replace both levers - clutch/front brake. Also replace the rear brake cylinder. They won’t bleed and it is frustrating. I bought a battery at the same time I got the bike - get an AGM battery as you may have to lay it on the side to fit. The stock battery is horrible. Get a seat cover/pad - as the seat is hard and the bike vibrates badly. I recommend removing the fuel tank and having it welded prior to riding. The spot welds at the rear of the tank will eventually break due to vibration and your tank will leak, eventually! Take the time prior to riding and save lots of time and money later. Change the oil, tighten the bolts and upgrade parts as you like. I changed the handlebars and chain guard, put on bark busters, new turn signals, new foot pegs, and other blue candy items. I love my bike - I laugh and smile every time I ride it. I did 150 mile days on road and take it to off road parks and beat the snot out of it. The engine is almost indestructible - and has ok power to get you around. It is NOT a race bike or pro-level anything. Parts are not easy to find - Ali Express is getting more and the Yamaha Tricker uses the same parts. It is for fun only - just know what you are getting into before purchasing. Enjoy!! ... show more
