My WYZE cameras work great through a window, almost as good as being outside. I use them both ways. This is great if you want to put on a window that is not close enough to a frame where you can place the washer for the magnet base of the camera to reach. It can be used in the middle of a large plate glass window. It is held in place with its built in tape and holds the camera by friction.

The media could not be loaded. It does it’s job. Definitely better then placing the camera on the window seal. I would but again, you can’t reuse it. Also you can slightly angle the camera. We have ours angled downwards to see the front yard/ door

I got my Wyze mini to use as outdoor surveillance, but we have no outdoor power source and our landlord doesn't allow drilling, so I bought this as a convenient compromise - I fixed it to our storm door so the camera sits between the two front doors and I ran the cord to an outlet inside. I loved it! I cleaned the glass before sticking it and have had zero issues with the adhesive since. The mount allows my cam to work in all lighting without any glare, and up until the last couple months, I had zero issues with the cam falling out (I was skeptical with how small the mount is since there's no adhesive sticking the camera to the mount). Falling was never an issue during the summer. I think it fell out once when I accidentally knocked it bringing in a large box. Then Halloween came and we took it the cam down just in case some kids thought stealing it would be a fun prank. But ever since we put it back up, the cam has been falling out more and more to the point we've simply given up. At first, I thought it was because we didn't give the cord as much slack after Halloween, so I adjusted the length and grew a habit of pushing the camera in everytime I used the door just in case it was loose. But I've realized the camera drops more on cooler temps and now it's winter and it won't stay up at all. For this purpose, I wish the mount had either a deeper pocket to it or maybe some sort of silicone sleeve to keep it more secure. I'm super thankful that the drops so far haven't caused any internal damage.

This window mount works well, but I was not aware that it was a single parameter type of camera mount. I feel that the explanation for this product should be more detailed and accurate.

Idk what everyone else is doing wrong, but the window mount works perfectly fine for me. Clean the window, stick it on, wait 24 hours, put the camera on and boom, you're good. My image shows a camera with and without the mount. The bottom one gets horrible glare because of the window in front of it. Unfortunately, I cannot mount this one to the window directly because I can't see my bike then. I will note, NEITHER camera has issues at night, but there is enough light that it doesn't trigger night mode. I do wish the window mount could be relocated (I put mine on crooked) but hey, for $10, I can live with it and get a new one when I move. Overall, extremely pleased so far with this whole kit. Had too many porch pirates and someone pushed over my motorcycle causing over a grand in damage. Now I'm just waiting for them to do it again cuz we're almost certain it was our neighbor. Payback will be sweet, and this product is the most affordable option I could find that will facilitate that! UPDATE It works great but it is VERY hard to get the sticky stuff off. I ended up using a butter knife it was so hard, even with goo gone. I knocked one star for that because it did everything else fine and could have be exacerbated by the Arizona sun beating on it for several months. I don't know the best solution, but some way of attaching it to a plexiglass sheet wouldn't be a bad idea. You could also put some command strips on instead
