I've been a violinist for about 15 years, and in that time, I've used all kinds of strings. Most of them were ok and got the job done when I needed new strings. I got the Evah Pirazzi's with my new violin and I thought my violin sounded great until I got a new set of Dominants, and it sounded less great. I generally love how these strings sound on my violin but was very disappointed that the E string in this set was not wrapped properly on the peg end and would not grip the peg to tighten and tune. I have replaced hundreds of strings. I had to put my old E string back on and ordered a separate E string (big gigs this time of year) because I had already put on the other three strings and couldn’t return it. ... show more
