Description

Wyze Room Sensor works via Bluetooth with Wyze Thermostat to bring you the best in whole home comfort. I recently installed a Wyze Thermostat. I have a two story home and while I work upstairs in a loft area, my son was always complaining about the temperature in his bedroom. Once I got Wyze Room Sensors, I had a much better idea what was going on in my house. His room was 10 degrees warmer than the downstairs.     • A little bit of a pain to set up. Does the job
Added these to my Wyze smart thermostat because it's located in a part of the house that nobody really spends time in, which doesn't get as warm/cold as other parts of the house. I put one sensor in the den, which doesn't get a lot of sunlight and is often colder than the rest of the house in the summer/winter. The other two went into the master bedroom, and guest bedrooms which are on the upper floor and are usually much warmer in the summer. I like that you can set a variance between the main thermostat readings to help balance the heating/cooling. Will see how long the AAA batteries hold up. The Bluetooth range on these seems to be pretty good since the thermostat and sensors on opposite sides of a 3700 square foot house. I own a bunch of wise products and in part of their ecosystem. These thermostat sensors work great I have two wise thermostat controllers, and six of these sensors and they all work great split up I’m on first floor and second floor in different rooms and hallways and they all do their job to control my thermostats. I’m not sure how the sensors work exactly in terms of knowing when to use a sensor reading or not, but overall I’m happy with it. Sometimes I find that a sensor is detecting movement when there isnt anyone in the room, but I’m sure its just from wind or lights giving it a false movement reading. I want to 3D print a little wall mount for these guys so I dont have to stick it directly on the wall with a double sided sticker. ... show more

These are an awesome idea. They only work with the thermostat and sensor hub. I really just wanted temperature monitoring. Beyond that perfect size. Multiple mounting options. One star off for battery powered only. One star off for not specifically mention required additional hardware.

My bedroom gets colder than the room with the thermostat these sensors help balance the temperature I have the bedroom sensor set for sleep and the kitchen set for home so they kick in as needed and are ignored when away

The best smart thermostat that can use sensors in its price range. By far and away less expensive than others but still packed full of features.
