    • Eliminate recharging the camera batteries
We have twenty to thirty Wyze cameras in our two businesses and our homes. Quite a few had to be battery powered and if there is high activity, the camera must be charged often. Saw the solar panels offered and got one to try. They’re wonderful and marvelous!! We bought a bunch more and now our battery cameras all stay charged all the time. The panels went up easily and within several days, all were charged to 100%. All the panels get a little sunlight but aren’t in full sunlight at all. For our businesses this is the best security system we’ve ever had. I can watch my business 24/7 and when closed, get warnings on my cell phone if there is anything moving in my building or on my grounds. We have purchased pads for behind our registers in case we want to see a blind spot. A real solution for small businesses on limited budgets. And great for homes of seniors that need help from time to time. My wife fell on our entrance and had to wait 5 hours to get help getting up and in the house. That won’t happen again with our home cameras and our children able to view our entrances with their phones. Just the best solution as my wife and I get older. ... show more

This solar panel works great for wyze outdoor cam. I bought another brand previously that did not work at all keeping the batteries charged. These are the solar panels to get for your wyze outdoor cameras. This is the second one else I have brought. They keep my batteries charged for longer periods of time ... show more

    • 100% Necessary for Battery Cameras
These solar panels are incredibly easy to set up, and work great. Very much needed for the battery pro cameras if you set them up outdoors. I find that in conditions of 30 degrees F and warmer, they tend to charge the battery more than it's usage on conservative recording settings. During warmer conditions, you can have more data-heavy recording settings and still have it fully charged during the sunlit hours. If WYZE offered a larger solar panel, or you could hook multiple up to one camera, then perhaps the battery cameras would be more feasible to use during the winter. ... show more

    • Doesn’t power a thing!
It’s great if you want a piece of garbage to just get super hot and not power a thing! This is the worst waste of time and money. Left it in a very sunny spot that got exposure for the appropriate amount of time for 2 days straight without trying to see if it powered the Wyze camera 4. Nothing powered. Didn’t come with any mounting brackets, so I don’t even know how I would have put it up if it even worked. Wyze has been a great camera company but this solar panel didn’t even attempt to work. Huge waste of time and effort. I am returning the panel and the camera I bought solely to run off of this panel. ... show more

    • A balancing act
I can't write this review without saying I bought the cameras to go with the solar panel. I can't review the panel on its own merits. The solar panels was easy to install and look really nice they were faced in the direction of the sun and connected to the cameras. I bought three panels and cameras. I was experiencing battery issues and I could not figure for the life of me why the panels were not working. So I climbed up there and replaced the battery, about a week later I had the same problem so I did the same thing. I took the battery out and charged it and replaced it after the third week. I got a little tired of doing that so I said I'm not going to worry about it. I'll take it down and return it. So I turned the camera off that had the battery issue. 2 days later I returned to that camera and it was fully charged and then I was having problems with the other two cameras. Same problem. So I devised the same solution. I turn the cameras off and I let the sun charge the batteries itself and I've never had a problem since the sun charges the batteries without any problem. It appears that the sun needs to cycle these batteries. So give your battery and solar panel a chance to work before you send it back. I would buy this product again ... show more
