Bought two of these to power a Wyze Battery cam Version 2, and a Battery Cam Pro. Easy to hook up and works great. I installed them when both cams were around 50 or 60% battery charge so I could make sure the solar panel was working....and both charged up to 80% on one sunny day, and the next sunny day they were both at 100%, and have basically stayed there. Both these cams are kinda hard to get to, need a ladder, so this keeps me from having to climb up there during the slippery snowy winter months. Sun is lower in the sky in the winter, but given these charged up 20% points on one sunny late April day, a sunny day in January should at least add a few percentage points....and since they aren't triggered all that much, should be fine.

This is an excellent accessory for the Wyze Cam Pro. It eliminates the need to remove the camera for charging, making it extremely convenient and reliable. I currently have five of these installed, and they have performed exceptionally well. However, the sixth unit I ordered was missing a component required to secure the swivel mechanism in place. This is the only issue I have encountered across all of my purchases. I have submitted a customer support ticket and am currently awaiting a response. I believe this may have been an isolated manufacturing oversight, as the package appeared to be missing a single part. Overall, my experience with the product has been very positive, and I am hopeful this matter will be resolved promptly. Still gets a 5 star.

This solar panel is maintenance free and keeps my camera going all day, every day. I purchased and set up May 2023. Have to say that was money well spent. I can move the camera and panel where ever I want as my needs change. If there is anything at all that might be a tiny bit annoying - it says "battery 100%" when I view the camera in the app. Yeah, I know it's charging - because the solar panel is doing all the work for me. Make sure the camera is compatible, of course it isn't going to work on your lawnmower. Specifications are listed in the description.

I bought a Wyze camera and solar panel to help keep an eye on my house while I was away for the winter. Initially I was quite pleased but the camera battery began to fail and it appeared the solar panel was not charging it. After I returned home, I checked and the battery would charge when plugged into an AC outlet. I contacted Wyze support and chatted with a staffer who seemed very sympathetic but ultimately kept throwing hoops for me to jump through before they could "see what possible resolution they can offer". The resolution is simple, send me a solar panel that works, but apparently that is too much of challenge for them to figure out. I can't recommend that anyone purchase this product.

We have twenty to thirty Wyze cameras in our two businesses and our homes. Quite a few had to be battery powered and if there is high activity, the camera must be charged often. Saw the solar panels offered and got one to try. They’re wonderful and marvelous!! We bought a bunch more and now our battery cameras all stay charged all the time. The panels went up easily and within several days, all were charged to 100%. All the panels get a little sunlight but aren’t in full sunlight at all. For our businesses this is the best security system we’ve ever had. I can watch my business 24/7 and when closed, get warnings on my cell phone if there is anything moving in my building or on my grounds. We have purchased pads for behind our registers in case we want to see a blind spot. A real solution for small businesses on limited budgets. And great for homes of seniors that need help from time to time. My wife fell on our entrance and had to wait 5 hours to get help getting up and in the house. That won’t happen again with our home cameras and our children able to view our entrances with their phones. Just the best solution as my wife and I get older.

I can't write this review without saying I bought the cameras to go with the solar panel. I can't review the panel on its own merits. The solar panels was easy to install and look really nice they were faced in the direction of the sun and connected to the cameras. I bought three panels and cameras. I was experiencing battery issues and I could not figure for the life of me why the panels were not working. So I climbed up there and replaced the battery, about a week later I had the same problem so I did the same thing. I took the battery out and charged it and replaced it after the third week. I got a little tired of doing that so I said I'm not going to worry about it. I'll take it down and return it. So I turned the camera off that had the battery issue. 2 days later I returned to that camera and it was fully charged and then I was having problems with the other two cameras. Same problem. So I devised the same solution. I turn the cameras off and I let the sun charge the batteries itself and I've never had a problem since the sun charges the batteries without any problem. It appears that the sun needs to cycle these batteries. So give your battery and solar panel a chance to work before you send it back. I would buy this product again
