These solar panels are incredibly easy to set up, and work great. Very much needed for the battery pro cameras if you set them up outdoors. I find that in conditions of 30 degrees F and warmer, they tend to charge the battery more than it's usage on conservative recording settings. During warmer conditions, you can have more data-heavy recording settings and still have it fully charged during the sunlit hours. If WYZE offered a larger solar panel, or you could hook multiple up to one camera, then perhaps the battery cameras would be more feasible to use during the winter. ... show more

The Wyze camera and solar panel work just great. The solar panel powers the battery with free energy from the sun. There is a nifty button on the Wyze app that allows you to speak to the person who may be present in the monitored area and hear them speak back.     • Solar panel not working
This is not changing well my camera battery. I kept troubleshooting my camera and having to charge it indoors until I substituted for an existing solar panel I had from a previous camera. Now I cannot return this. :(

not bad for the money. For less than 30 bucks, they keep the camera charged very nicely. Started noticing marked decrease and charging power after two years of use. that’s pretty good return for the investment. I will buy again.
