The light was OK. The look is nice. Installation is pretty rough as the bracket is either flush mount or drops an inch so if your box isn't perfectly flush it will not hang correctly. The bulb itself wasn't too bright which was what we were looking for. HOWEVER, both times we ordered this item the glass came shattered. It is packaged very poorly with very little padding. The boxes were both in perfect shape so it wasn't like the carrier was too rough. The glass is also very thin and brittle which contributed. ... show more

Chain was way too short and very cheap. I opted using my down rods from my previous lighting and it worked perfectly. Very happy that the electric cord was long enough to be able to do this. Pretty easy to assemble with instructions.

No directions on how to assemble the base metal part for lamp. So this is really important! The largest metal ring has to be screwed in last! Out the arms together at the top in the "ball@ first, then the middle piece. The acre/ball on the bottom unscrews from the arm. Take it off the arm. Once the metal pieces are together, you should be able to screw the bottom ring on with the acre/ball through the outside of the ring into the arm. Only way we could do it. If you bought more than one, make sure all the rings are the same size. One of ours was bigger than the other and we had to send back. The one that did go together is really pretty and only took 10 minutes to put together one we figured out the screw/ball for the bottom ring! ... show more
