I love these knives, they’re the best I’ve ever had and worth every penny. Don’t put them in the dishwasher, you gotta hand wash them or they will dull quickly

All the blades worked well and are in great shape but one. The bread knife has a large metal burr on it so it catches and tears bread. For that price they should check before mailing them.

This block does not work well with this set. Holes are bigger, maybe the goal was to have a one size fits all block, but a lot of the knives are too small and do not fit in properly. But I love the knives and the packaging is beautiful.

I just moved into a new condo this spring and was looking for a set of high quality knives to use in my new kitchen. This set is the most reasonably priced out of the Wusthof forged knife sets. It contains all the essential knives that you need, and they seem like they will last for years.

Nothing more to say here, the set was perfect, all the essentials for starter chefs (or experienced chefs who are just starting their kitchen). Don't have these knives yet? Buy them. Dishwasher safe, simple and contemporary design, and as sharp as Excalibur.
