I mean, what needs to be said, the name says it all, it's a Wusthof! It's quality, well balanced, with a nice hilt. Fits perfect in the hand, even with my smaller hands and waning grip it fits and holds very nice. And that blade! Awesome! The rivets are well made and polished down to the handle nicely. The handle has a smooth grip yet easy to hold onto, which makes using it for a longer period of time easy. And a fantastic warranty. This is the second knife in the Classic Ikon line that I have gotten, and I just can't say enough about how they have made me happier in the kitchen. I look forward to using them every day. (I even HUNT for things to slice and dice. Haha) There are 3 more in this line that I will be getting as I phase out part of my Zwilling J.A. Henckel set. (Go. Get. Your. Wusthof.)! ... show more

The steel used in Wusthof knives is top quality and holds an edge really well. This knife has a great heft, a nice tang, and comfortable grip.

    • An absolutely gorgeous knife
Size: 7.9" Style: Knife Set
A beautiful, well made, well polished - VERY sharp out of the box - knife. Literally, the only con I have to share is that the packing absolutely sucks. At least, in the Amazon delivery-ecosystem it does. The box this knife comes in IS NOT MADE to be shipped. Period. It's supposed to be hung on a wall rack in the culinary section of a nice store. Not stuffed in a box, on a truck, potentially getting dropped over and over again. The reason, there is a small, round, molded plastic piece at the tip of this knife to protect it from falls; but because the knife is so sharp, if the box lands the right way the knife will literally shear through the plastic piece and make contact with the ground. Which means you are VERY likely to recieve a knife with a damaged tip from dropping. At least that was the case with me. Twice. Both knives arrived with the exact issue I described, only the second one was luckily undamaged. So be sure to check the knife before you get to using it or throw the box away. ... show more
