  • Good EDC light.
Color: Army Green LBG
Easy operation, solid build, well designed, and inexpensive. The brightness level is impressive especially for a flashlight this small. I also like the different light modes, they are useful and practical. The advertised run time seemed to be accurate (at lowest level, about 50 + hours). Charging is fast and the battery is removable, this means you can have a spare battery that will allow you to run this light longer. Another good thing is that you don’t need to buy a proprietorial Wuben battery, you can use any 18350 batteries. Finally, it has the right weight and size, perfect for EDC. This is definitely one of the best Chinese made flashlight in this price range ($20+). Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Great flashlight. Had to buy 18650 3.7v batteries to fit in the extension.
Color: Army Green LBG
I love this flashlight. It's a little pricey, that's the only downside. I got the whole bundle in green for 40 dollars. The sensor doesnt let you wave your hand, but you just tap the sensor and it turns on. The size of the flashlight is great too, but i also got the extension for the bigger battery. Just bought the batteries for 20 bucks. So im into the flashlight for at least 60 bucks. But I say its worth every penny so far. The light brightness is great too. The dim is really dim, and the bright is really bright. They also have a turbo brightness that is slightly too bright. Thats what I was looking for. When the light is in the headlamp harness you can tilt it up or down. Tilted down puts it at the perfect angle for a headlamp. Actually one more downside is the part that sits on your forehead is not the most comfortable thing, but its still wearable. I would be down to have some padding on it. Also looks like there is a spot to put another strap on the handbags harness. Wondering what that thing is for. I will be back after I test the 18650 3.7v batteries that i got for the extension adapter. Edit: I came back to say that finding the 3.7v 18650 button top lithium ion battery on amazon has been an ordeal. Ive now spent over 50 bucks trying to get a battery to use the adapter on my flashlight. I still dont have the battery. I have a nice case for batteries and a 25 dollar 2 port charger that I got tricked into buying.. if you buy this flashlight and still need the longer battery, go to home depot for the battery. They have chargers too. Amazon has 8 dollar chargers but if they are as big of a scam as the batteries I wouldn't trust it. Any battery over 3500mah is a scam, especially over 5000mah.. be careful out there, China has gotten real good at making fake batteries that work long enough to fall outside the return window. ... show more

  • Great battery, extremely bright, and very durable
Color: Black LBG
Bought this flashlight last year as a work light. It was perfect for carrying in my pocket as I crawled through crawlspaces while doing plumbing work. The magnetic base makes for great handsfree work light. Surprisingly bright for the small size with an impressive battery life to boot. I liked it so much that I bought a backup as a just in case. ... show more

  • Bright flashlight great for every day carry
Color: Army Green LBG
The light Stopped working after three months, and Customer Service eventually sent a replacement, although it was quite a process. I was disappointed when it stopped working because it was a great little light that I carried everywhere with me. It has a strong magnet, and I love that you could upgrade and get a bigger battery for it. Turbo mode is amazing (in short bursts, as it drains battery quickly). ... show more

  • Very floody
Color: Khaki LBG
I think this flashlight is a good value for the money. Not very comfortable as a keychain because it's pretty heavy, and you would need to supply your own ring in that carrying method since it does not come with one. Out of the other flashlights that I have it compares to a Nitecore TUP in terms both of size and brightness. But the Wuben E7, while shorter than TUP, is a lot heavier than it, because of its machined aluminium block construction, as opposed to pressed sheet metal and inner plastic frame. This means that the E7 will be a lot more durable, to which adds the fact that it has a ridge around the lens. E7 remains lit at high setting for 1.5h on the stock 1100mAh 18350 battery (you can buy a higher capacity one or a tube for an 18650 if you want more battery life). The flashlight seems significantly less bright than it is because of its wide emission angle (a lot wider than Nitecore TUP). You only see how bright it is when illuminating an area with it or some other light source. But do not expect a pocket sun, it is pretty bright but won't make the entire room look like it's suddenly day. Turbo stays on without holding down the button and then it switches to high. The button is at the end and has a ridge, both of which make it hard to press accidentally. You technically can wear it on a hat, but you would have to put it on the 90s skater kid way (the beak facing backwards) and use the adjustment strap as mounting point. For handsfree use you either want the custom headband, or put it on your belt or shirt collar. It will wobble on soft clothes though, because it is heavy and short. Probably the 18650 tube would help with that. The flashlight does get rather warm when on in high mode. I like how you can not only replace the battery easily with common sizes, but also take the rest of the flashlight apart for some mods or component replacement if you know what you are doing (it has screws and you can access the LEDs and the controller). Magnet is strong making it a good work light when combined with the LEDs being on the side instead of the end. Pros: - bright, similar (somewhat worse) battery life to lumens ratio as the first gen Nitecore TUP, durability, build quality, repairability, wide angle (when used as a work light), easy to use UI, strong clip and magnet, option to be a longer flashlight with more battery life if you want it to, turbo does not require holding down the button, the flashlight does not know whether the battery is an 18350 or 18650, so it has the same brightness (possibly limited by battery ESR in turbo mode) regardless, and it is really cheap for what it is, you can get the battery out to prevent self-discharge when not using for a prolonged time, looks good. Cons: -less bright than I expected, really heavy for its size, may not charge from some smart chargers when using USB-C to USB-C cable (to use an USB-C - only charger that won't charge it, you need a USB-C male to USB-A female adapter and an USB-A to C cable to strip out the USB-C - specific signalling. The flashlight works normally with at least one of my "smart" chargers with USB-C PD, but not with the other, needing this workaround), can't wear on the beak of a baseball cap in a useful way, could have more brightness modes, maybe too floody for an EDC flashlight. As for the 18650 extension tube: it is just a tiny bit too long, so the flashlight can turn off when shaken violently with at least one brand of 18650 inserted because it is loose. And the tube is just that: a tube, not a longer endcap, so don't get the idea that you will have a long endcap to use at home with 18650s and a short one attached to your keys, to use with 18350s. You still need the original endcap. And the thread on the tube is not as thought through as on the flashlight itself, so when fully screwed in, the walls on it do not match the walls of the flashlight (unlike the non-extended flashlight that looks good when fully screwed in). I think it is brighter with an 18650. Also be careful with the TIR lens as it is easy to scratch. ... show more

  • Great little flexible EDC light
Color: Army Green LBG
I've been a fan of Wuben lights since I got my first X0. I like the unique design and quality build. So I picked up the newer E7 along with the extension tube and headband. To me this combination gives you extreme flexibility. Here are some pro's and con's compared to my X0 and other lights I have. Pros: -I love the green color and the surface finish looks really nice and will hopefully hold up well. I will update later if I see any unusual wear and tear. -The replaceable battery. That is one thing I do not like on the X0 or X2, not that I have had a need to replace the battery in either of these after years of use, but it is nice knowing it can easily be replaced. -You can use the light while charging. Not that I would do this frequently, but nice to know it can be done if needed. -The rubber USB-C cover is easy to open and I believe will protect the port better than the flap on the X0 or X2, although the flap is fun to play with on these. I will see how durable the rubber cover is and report back if there are any issues. -The availability of the extension tube is one more layer of flexibility. I have a few 18650 cells and being able to use these for either extended run time or just incase adds to the appeal of this light in an emergency. -It clips easily into the headband for hands-free use. -The wider beam spread over the X0 is perfect for use in the headband. -The magnetic tail allows you to mount the light to any metal vertical surface and aim light down. Think changing a flat tire. I've used my X0 for this very scenario and it was extremely handy. -The clip provides a firm hold while still easy to use. The clip on the X0 was too stiff. -The UI is very simple to learn. Single press is ON/OFF, press/hold cycles between L-M-H, double click is turbo and triple click is SOS/strobe. -The low setting is perfect for reading in the dark, typical moonlight mode. -Turbo is extremely bright. Cons: -The USB-C charging does not seems to follow the full USB-C charging standards. So what this means is that if you have a newer charger and use a USB-C to USB-C cable, such as the one provided, it may not work. I tried plugging it into a couple different power banks and my laptop with the supplied cable and another USB-C to USB-C cable and the unit would not charge. I plugged it into an older power brick with the same cable and it started to charge. I then tried a USB-A to USB-C cable on the same power banks and laptop and it charged just fine. I feel this is minor as long as you understand the limitations. I always have a combination of cables with by power bricks, so this will not limit my use. ... show more

  • BRIGHT
Color: Black LBG
This light checks all the boxes for me. It’s really bright. It has a pocket clip that I use to clip it to my power wheel chair because it’s better than the lights already installed. It’s tiny and bright. The battery life is sufficient for what I need which is going back and forth between the shop and the house. Did I mention it’s bright? 😎 I like it when I can leave a good review. ... show more
