Super bright, exactly what I was looking for. After a bear made off with my cooler one night, I couldn't find a flashlight bright enough to tell how big it was. So I got this one, and it would do the trick, if ever a bear returns. We explored some deep miles long lava tubes and I brought this along. It definitely was bright enough, where cell phone lights fell woefully short. I love that this also is rechargeable, so I don't have to worry about replacing batteries. Good quality bright flashlights! not sure what superlatives to use - it's a good flashlight, bright for a good distance. Charges quickly.
