Four Stars here but only because sweater is fairly thin. Not sure what I was expecting, but this is not a substantial weight (like a Land's End 'Drifter' cotton sweater) HOWEVER, still very nice. The weave is OK, not really tight but not loose and sloppy either. Looks great, and maybe being this lightweight makes the garment more practical for spring and summer wear!! The design of this model certainly makes it look more like a spring/summer item. Sizing - I went with a size medium and please see photos for the before and after wash measurements. The wash was cold water and the dryer was at medium. In summary, chest shrinkage was about 1 1/2" in circumference (From about 40 1/2" down to 39"), the length lost 3/4" (27" down to 26 1/4"), and sleeve length went from 27" to 26" (note where I was measuring from at the shoulder...this is NOT sleeve length like on a dress shirt) All in all, a nice sweater and I think a good value!!! This was one of the gifts my husband received for Christmas! He absolutely loved the crewneck sweater that is very well made! It does run a little but small. I had ordered a large thinking the sweater might shrink somewhat and very glad I did. It fit him perfectly and he is more of a size medium. The green is a rich looking color! Another well made sweater. It fits sizes very well. Helps on cold days to keep me warm. Only complaint is that the blue is not a truer blue. Tight construction that give when you pull it without stretching it out.

This was a great sweater the one time my husband wore it. It looked and fit great! Then it was washed and dried and shrunk considerably. He is 6’4” with the same measurements as the model and I got an XL just like the model was wearing. I don’t know about other people but we don’t have time to pamper our clothes and not dry them. I ordered this sweater for my 6'10" bf in two colors. The sweater is on the thin side, but that's what I was looking for. It can be paired with a collared shirt or nice (unseen) tee underneath. Most importantly the sleeves are not too short. Nor is the torso. With his height, those two areas are always concerns. This sweater is appropriate for "business casual" work environments & can be paired with dress pants, khakis, or jeans. The fabric is soft, and the price is much better than most big and tall clothing items. Update- I also ordered another color in a 3xl (as opposed to a 2xlt). Being that one sweater is specifically sized for tall men, I was concerned that the arm & waist length would be too short in the 3xl. It's not. There's no real difference in the lengths. The difference is in the chest... with the 3xl being roomier. The 2xlt & 3xl both fit nicely, and are both options. ... show more
