The tool works fine, pretty simple to operate. Great for reinforcing 3D printed cosplay weapons. The wire nippers in the kit is somehow worse than the nippers that come with 3D printers for cutting plastic filament. Not sure how useful the shape variety is. I can't believe what a fantastic tool this little $20 plastic welder is. My neighbor asked me if I could repair the crack on his John Deere mower. I assumed it was ABS plastic, and I was going to bond an ABS patch to the underside if the hood, bridging the crack. Found out it is not ABS. I'm not really sure what composition the hood material is, so I decided to go with mechanical stitching rather than guess what kind of glue would work. Wow. This worked like magic.
