So far this blanket seems like it will be extremely soft and comfortable. Its a bit on the thinner side, so probably not best for colder climates, but I'm in texas, its hot most of the year. It'd likely be a good add on layer for extra warmth or smaller sizes a good throw for a couch. It was extremely soft out of the packaging, and i washed according to its care label, and it came out a bit softer. It had no noticeable odor out of the packaging. Its a good king size and the pattern looks great. I love the contrasting stripes with the green. I hope this stays soft and lasts, as it feels extremely comfortable and durable. On sale for $38 it seems like a good find if it lasts. After sleeping with it as my main blanket (under comforter, i dont like top sheets) this blanket washed up well following the care label and is extremely soft, well sized and comfortable. ... show more

Wrangler blankets are the softest. I have two of these type. I bought the blue design it is the perfect weight for my needs. It is not to heavy but perfectly warm. I consider these top tier blankets. Bought the Westin Blue for my significant other for one of his birthday gifts. I ended up later buying one for my apartment too in the same color. The blanket is so comfy, soft, and the perfect thinness to keep you warm but not too warm. I’ve loved blankets like this but have found they’re too hot with the top sheet. Well this one combines so nicely! My significant other prefers his for the couch/living room area. That’s how I became obsessed with this. Now I’m debating purchasing additional colors to rotate them while others are being washed. Also, when I say perfect softness.. I do not like Sherpa. Something about Sherpa if my hands are dry from washing them and I touch that fabric it grosses me right out lol. This blanket is so soft. I was surprised when I got it just how nice and soft it is. I really like it. I would recommend it. It’s very pretty. It’s polyester not cotton, but still nice and soft. I like it.
