I ordered this wrangler mens cargo shorts because i can't find these in stores anymore.They don't compare to my wrangler shorts i bought a year ago at Walmart. The material is thinner and the shorts are shorter now . Instead of hitting at the knee they now hit above the knee. Wrangler is trying to save money by making them 2 inches shorter. I am going to buy Dickies cargo shorts from now on. Wrangler you are going to lose customers by doing this. What's gonna happen next year 3 inches shorter. Don't get me started on the new stretch polyester cargo shorts. They are giong to skinny shorts that stretch TERRIBLE idea. We want the old shorts back.100% cotton Relaxed fit cargo shorts That hit at the knee.Not some polyester stretch skinny shorts.

Fit is good, but unlike most Wangler products these did not last but one season. These seem a bit thinner material and more something you would find at walmart. It's just warming up for shorts again and I put these on to do a little yard cleaning. I bent down to pick something up and RRRRRIP! These had developed a very tiny hole above the pocket on the left side and when I bent down they ripped from just below the waist down to below the inner pocket. I got at the same time the PREMIUM TWILL shorts and material is far superior and hardly showing any signs of wear (Oh, and they are slightly cheaper!).

These Wrangler Cargo shorts are very well constructed and have plenty of pockets. I especially like having velcro on the long side pockets. Makes them more durable to me. I ordered the denim Cargo shorts and they are definitely denim. The same material as used in their jeans. The fit is true to size and minimal shrinking in washing/drying. Personally, I would prefer them to be shorter - these extend a bit over my kneecaps. I tend to rather have a shorter inseam. But all the positives of these cargo shorts, outweigh any negative about the length. The price point for these quality cargo shorts is excellent and I'm planning on ordering more.

Don’t buy these shorts, they are advertised as loose fit, but wrangler changed the cut, and now the crotch is only suitable for a eunuch. I’ve worn the loose fit style for over 15 years. They were the best at the price, far cheaper than Patagonia stand up’s, but slowly but surely Wranglers reduced the thread count to make the material flimsier and then cut out material from the crotch. I guess all good things must come to an end.

Purchased for my son and he asked for more like this pair! That speaks volumes for the fit, he wouldn't be asking for more pairs if he didn't like the way they fit. My son is 5'9" 225lbs with a 32 inseam....built like a barrel: Thick waist and thighs and he says these fit comfortably around his waist and thighs and don't "crotch bind" ( guy thing I guess..LOL) The seams are solid, the weight of the twill is heavy without being stiff/itchy. They wash up great, dry without wrinkles and look pressed if he remembers to pull them out of the dryer as soon as they are dry and hang them with the crease set. They are "casual classy". He works the front desk at a small mom and pop hotel and is allowed to wear shorts when he works the evening shift, but they have to be dress type shorts, look neat and clean with a visible crisp crease and these passed inspection with his boss. They look nice paired with a short sleve button down shirt, belt and loafers, very clean causal look.

Amazon has missed before, but this time I may never trust them again. I ordered by the size I’ve always taken, but these were clearly two sizes too small. In spite of that, the package was labeled “XXL”, which wasn’t the size I ordered, or what was in the package. The material has the thickness and durability of boxers underwear, and the pockets are barely adult hand size. I should have noticed that much of the printing on the order page is in Chinese, and it took almost a month to be delivered. If these are “Wranglers”, then I’ve lost all respect for their brand as well. There are no labels on the garment of any kind, not a brand, size or washing instructions, just a “Made in China” on the wrapper. I wouldn’t have given these a second glance in a 99 cents store! I would return them, but I would have to package and ship them back to China, with a label in Chinese that my computer font doesn't support, and with no guarantee that the seller would even notify Amazon if they received it. I’ve been here before with them.

It is an excellent fit - around the waist, in the seat, in the length, in the pockets. The pockets have the right amount of depth and width one needs. If anything, I'm glad there is no button on the back pockets. Usually, they can be the proverbial pain in the a**. But I can understand the need for a button or a Velcro flap to provide extra security for a wallet. With shorts, it's better to have your wallet in the slash pocket or in one of the cargo pockets. The size of the tech pocket to carry a phone is ideal if you carry a smaller phone. If you carry a larger screen phone, it will stick out of the pocket. Most importantly, it is true to size in fit. I wear a 36-inch waist in my work jeans and dress pants (generally Dockers). I ordered a 36-inch waist in these shorts, and they were a perfect fit. Unlike some other relaxed fit or loose fit shorts, it's not like you are stepping into a pair of clown pants. You won't be disappointed with these shorts.
