I really like the look and that it fits on my couch. I was worried bc my couches arm rest is thin, but it works very well! It doesnt slip or slide around. Fair warning it does scratch easily. I’ve only ever put cups/mugs on it and the photo is how it looks after only having it for about 1-2 months. Well made, nicely finished, and good looking. All of that said, if you actually also intend to use your armrest, to say… put your arm on it, and it brushes up against the edge of this it will dig into your arm as the edges are very sharp. Make it more functional they should’ve rounded the edges, such that you could not even tell that your arm was bridging the gap between sofa, armrest, and this thing here… But it is inevitable that you will have your forearm resting on the edge of this thing and you will see exactly what I am saying. Handy product. I like that it is versatile enough to fit on various sized furniture arms. It's also attractive. I'm wavering on a 5th star because there was a small divot on the black surface. It doesn't effect the usability, but it annoys me just the same. Was it sent that way? Don't know for sure. Clearly, this will be the last and final time I ever use Amazon overnight delivery. Had the delivery person placed the package in the protected area of our front porch out of view of thieves, wind and rain, the product would not have been saturated by rain to the point the box literally peeled off. ... show more
