I bought one size smaller than I use when buying Wrangler Jeans. These are still large in the smaller size, and they have some stretch in the fabric as well. I don't mind a little bagginess, but keep that in mind if you're wanting a tailored fit. I bought three pairs and the same is true in each one. The colors are pretty accurate in the pictures depicted on the product page. The fabric is lightweight compared to my Carhartt shorts, but does not seem flimsy or thin. My husband has had 4 of these shorts now, each being worn, a lot, for at least a year each. They hold up well. He's ripped only one with a small hole, but it probably has to do with him working on his Cars and rolling on the ground with tools. I really like how these look on him (Very Manly). He likes them because they are cool enough to wear during hot weather and they have utility pockets. Overall we will be buying these again. True to size (for reference 5' 10" 210lbs bought 36 waist, hits just above the knee, wears a belt just so they don't slip a little) and as shown in the picture, but definitely measure before buying to be safe, as always. ... show more

I have purchased Wrangler cargo shorts for many years. Always the ones with the phone pocket on the right side. This pair had the phone pocket on the left side. I like them but it just seems they were made by a different company.

I like this type of Wrangler shorts quite well. They fit right in the waist and are not too heavy material wise. I am 6'1" so the bottoms almost rest right on the upper part of my kneecap. I bought these shorts as a gift for a family member. They fit as expected, are light weight and durable. There is some stretch so they are comfortable when biking, hiking or other activities without losing their shape. The fabric is sturdy but,also light weight.

I have been wearing Wrangler Cargo shorts almost exclusively for the past couple years, as I live in Southern New Mexico. I have NOT had any adverse issues with any of the garments over this time frame. Zippers continue to work good. No pockets have torn or come loose. Wear is evident on the "seat" area of older garments, but that is expected. I am six foot tall and wear a size 46 waist. The length comes just above the knee when worn. I really like the "stretch" function. It is not really noticeable while wearing the shorts but on days you go to the local "buffet", it comes in handy! I like the slip in pocket on the left front of the leg which makes it really easy to slip my cell phone in and out easily. I wish Wrangler would make this garment in a "LOOSE FIT" or "Relaxed Fit" configuration. I am somewhat overweight so a looser fit garment ( not just in the waistband ) would be welcome. However, I will continue to buy Wrangler cargo shorts because they perform as expected and I believe they are a value for the price. ... show more
