I am obsessed with these! I was originally looking for some type of lighting that I could install, and I came across these. Don’t be fooled by the price or that they are made of plastic because these are a great deal. I’ve dropped them a few times on my hardwood floors and it did not damage the functionality of the product, so they are quite sturdy. They are easy to move around if necessary because you can put them up with double sided tape that the manufacturer provides in the box! I did screw 2 in the coring but the rest I have just used the double sided tape and I am not having problems removing the fixtures to charge. I was worried that the magnet on the back would pull the tape from the ceiling because the magnet is STRONG, but it hasn’t. The light can be changed to 3 lighting options and it is dimmable. It take a bit to charge, but once finished it holds the charge for quite a few weeks as long as they are not left on. I use the motion sensor option to save the battery and I love it. I put them at the bottom of my basement steps so if I’m carrying something, I don’t have to worry about out flipping on a light with my hands full. I put them in my laundry room, bathroom and multiple closets. Im going to buy a few for my garage where I walk out to get in my car and pantry. Another plus is if your electricity goes out, you have a bunch of lights to help you see. I’m obsessed with these and think they are great on so many levels. My tiny dogs even trigger the motion sensors so when they come walking they have their own light as well. Each light comes with a remote as well. For some places like the hallway or closet, I used double sided tape to put the remote on the wall so I do not lose it.

Love these! Purchased for a bedroom with little natural light, and an off centered light fixture that always gave the room a darker feel. I needed light when getting ready for the day ( for outfit check). Added 2 so far, and they have made such a difference! The bedroom n is brighter overall. The multiple levels of light color (warm, daylight, etc. ) and brightness levels make finding the right light level easy. They have a motion sensor, but can also be used as a typical light- being just on or off, and one remote works both of you want. Another plus- they look like I have installed can lights- minus the hassle of doing so. I'm planning on ordering another set. They're also a plus should the power go out. Win win!

Nice lights!

These are actually really cool. One remote operates them all, so I have one on my nightstand and my wife has one on here night stand, so controlling the lights is easy. We'd like to add can lights to our bedroom ceiling one day, so this is a really good temporary option for now. I just used the provided double sided tape for the time being and had all four lights installed in about 10 minutes. Recharging shouldn't be too bad since the lights are just attached with magnets, but getting a chair or stepstool to reach them may be the only inconvenience. Battery life seemed to have mixed reviews, so we'll have to give that some time, but I knew what we were getting into when we made the purchase. Overall, theses are worthy of 5 stars.

Great for additional light!

Perfect for adding cozy, extra lighting! We love these! We couldn’t add recessed lighting to our home, so we put these in our living room for some extra light, and they honestly look so much like recessed lighting once they’re up. I especially love that the light isn’t harsh or stark. You can change the different lighting settings depending on the time of day, which makes such a difference — brighter in the morning and softer/cozier at night. The remote is also super easy to use. They’re magnetic and really easy to hang, which makes installation easy. I’m giving 4 stars only because I wish the charge lasted a little longer. That said, they’re easy to recharge and I still think they’re totally worth it!

Strong enough to light up large area

These are great little lights. I put them in my closets, because I wanted motion sensor lights. One of my closets is small, and works perfectly, and the other is a larger walk in closet and I have one in there, and it still lights up the whole closet very well. The light does go off after 20 seconds, so for a closet that I use to change, it does turn off on me often, but just a wave of my hand and it goes back on again. The magnet connection is useful since they do have to be recharged, so the magnet makes for easy removal. Highly recommend!

Think carefully where you'll mount it

Update: 7/31/25: The light just fell from my ceiling, Bar is not reattaching securely, contacted manufacturer but not very confident they will send a new bar and mounting tape. The only contact info provided by Amazon is a link to a website to sign up to be an affiliate. Normally Amazon has better options to contact seller. Previous review: I'm happy with this light. It's just the right amount of light for my tiny dark shower. I wanteded to share a few caveats. 1) Don't expect to use immediately. It took several hours to charge using the supplied cord. You will also need a plug for the cord. 2) I have not been able to turn on or off using the buttons on the light itself. The remote is clearly labeled and works fine for on/off functionality which is how I'm using. Due to the long charging time, I plan to only turn it on when showering, so I haven't tested any of the motion sensors. 3) The light has 2 small magnets on the back side that attach to a small think metal bar that is attached to the wall or ceiling. So basically you're mounting the bar, not the light itself. This makes it easier to remove and charge. The bar comes with two holes that can be used to mount with screws, or supplied adhesive strips. The strips are rubbery but surprisingly sticky. I decided to move after initially mounting. Unfortunately I damaged the drywall when trying to remove the strip, and then bent the metal mounting strip in the process. It took a while to scrape the adhesive off the metal strip, but was eventually able to apply the second adhesive strip and remount in a new location. 4) I recommend you think carefully about where you want to mount the metal strip and that you can reach it safely, as mounting on a ceiling over a tub can be tricky depending on ceiling height.

Lights are very bright I haven't used the motion detect but I use the remote to turn them on and off....haven't had them long enough to see the longevity of the light but for now I am very pleased ....if they last a good while then I will purchase again

Nice but wish they were brighter

I purchased these lights for a 6x6 closet space as a temporary fix for lighting. They are easy to install and remove for charging. They are not as bright as I hoped for even using both lights but it’s fine for now.
