These binoculars really impressed me! First off I am legally blind and so having the adjustable eye pieces in combination with the center fine focus knob and the open close hinge for eye distance is nice because I can remove my glasses and be able to see without my glasses which if compared to most peoples glasses are around a +20. I could get away with a Monocular since my right eye has no lens and I only use it for peripheral vision but having the outer image does help in combining what I am seeing most times. I don't particularly prefer the neck strap style of these but unfortunately that is how most are made aside from this particular item. I really wish and would have preferred a metal D ring that pivots in a circle with a nicer strap that has metal metal clips, say maybe Velcro through an adjustable loop. Those plastic buckles that adjust the length of the strapping tend to slide or move quite easily if pulled the wrong way and so, I may look into some type of adapter and come up with my own replacement. I regrettably didnt think to loop the strap through the eye piece cover set which has the same loop as the binoculars but I just remove them when using and stick them in the carry bag. These have quite a hefty weight to them so for trips where you might wear them they could become tiring but that speaks to the nice binocular set since it has quite a bit of zoom and it is Optical zoom which is a great quality with the filtering coatings. I am quite honestly surprised how good these are at the price point they sell for because most other similar binoculars are much more expensive. The carry bag is nice, has a lot of padding for good protection, and a large Velcro lid that will not open easily. It has a shoulder strap as well but again plastic clips and side rings, I would have preferred metal D rings and metal clips on the strap. I feel those changes would set it apart. Now I want to speak on the viewing viewing end where the input of vision comes from, they aren't huge but much bigger than the eye piece side which is to be expected. I don't like that the cover for these is attached and to my knowledge cannot be removed unless you cut them off. I would rather have seen a nylon strap attaching it to one side so they can hang out of the way. When new they tend to spring up in the way of the vision. After attaching the phone holder I opened my camera app and adjusted it into the view opening and tightened the knob to hold it in place. I was barely able to get the camera lined up and I feel the hole should have been a bit larger. Today in my area it is overcast with no sun and even with lower than normal light I was unable to get a clear picture on my phone, it was completely washed out. So if you are getting this for that feature I am not sure it will work well but your mileage may vary. Overall for the set it is nice and though I have wants I cannot deduct any stars for what should have been. It is worth the binoculars even if just for them without the phone piece. ... show more

First off let me just say that this came with an actual easy to read and understand instruction booklet! I can’t remember the last time I saw that! … It was so impressive in fact that I was considering giving 5 stars just for the instructions alone, but it turns out the binoculars were equally impressive! You can adjust the eye pieces for if you wear glasses! I apologize for all the exclamation marks, but I really am this impressed. I never owned binoculars that you could adjust like that, I own a few well known brands. That is not all that these binoculars have to offer. They are REALLY POWERFUL! 300ft field view in UHD! They also boast water proof and fog proof lenses. Matter of fact, you can submerge them in water for up to 30mins! They also perform well in low light and have fast focus! Did I mention you can attach your smart phone for picture taking?!!! How these sell for UNDER $100 is beyond me! I LOVE (!!!) these binoculars so much. I am so excited to go whale watching in a few months! ... show more
