Easy to put together. The gun is good in my opinion but iv also been told that for using a tattoo gun for the first time ever im pretty flawless in my work so it might just be me not the gun or supplies hehe hoho. Needles are easy to use, glides good and holds the ink nicely with out spritzing ink everywhere. transfer paper is just okay depends on what your writing/ drawing with i suggest you go to target and spend the money. The ink that comes in the kit is pretty good high pigment! the extra black ink provided is nice as the other colors are tiny and you'll need to buy more very soon. The tape to cover the pen is just self adhesive bandage, go to dollar tree and get more soon. Get more cups but its nine they there are two different sizes. ... show more

  • Love it
Color: purple
Do light weight and easy to hold functions great and I love size of the power pack however I would not advise using the ink that comes with it on human skin, it rejects the ink badly but tattoo pen, I absolutely love it

  • Great starter tattoo pen
Color: purple
Purchased as a started tattoo pen for my daughter. The only complaint would be that the power cord plug to the actual pen tends to be loose causing pen to shut off. Have used tape to hold plug in place. Overall a good starter unit but will be buying cordless.

  • Total garbage!!!!
Color: purple
Bought this product, and right out the box the unit did not work. After some screwing around and email the company, got the unit to work. But, you have to tape down the cable in the top of the pen, and the foot pedal doesn't work whatsoever. An absolute pain in the trying to learn to tattoo, while the pen runs constantly. After several emails with the company we still don't have a new pedal or cord. Don't waste your time or money on this product. ... show more

  • Tattoo curious teen
Color: purple
I got this for my daughter who is curious about creating tattoo art down the road .. she loves this set and finds it fun and easy to use .. it also is a neat little tool to work with. I got it with one caveat .. that she not tattoo herself EVER!! :)

  • Great product, easy to use, but if you read reviews it's misleading
Color: purple
I originally wanted to get this just to do a few solid armbands. I figured a solid black ring wouldn't be that difficult. I first purchased their starter kit that's about $30-ish. The more traditional old school type but unfortunately I had a lot of issues with it stopping or stuttering when taking on the silicone skin. I returned it and decided to drop an extra $30 to pick up this machine. I had looked at the reviews before and all of them mention the kit coming with 40 needles. I thought that was great cause I could use a few to completely tattoo the silicone skin trying to learn the best way to do things and I was also nervous. When the machine came I was so excited I rushed to hook it up and started immediately on the silicone skin. The kit Comes with #3, #5, & #7 needles.. While I was plugging it all in my girlfriend was opening up the inks, gloves etc as I was attaching cords and sanitizing my workspace. I started on the silicone skin and did a few line work tattoos first with the #3 needle. I then switched up to #5 & #7 for shading. When I asked her to throw me a few more #3's she said she gave me all the needles.... I was really confused though cause at that point I only had 5 in front of me 3 used and 2 still sealed. When I went over to look in the box she was right. Apparently this set only comes with 20 needles total. I think it's 5 #3, 5 #7 and 10 #5's. I was really upset because had I known I would have only used one on the silicone skin so I could say least have 4 left for actual skin. I did two tattoos on my arm, using a #3 for each and now I can't really do much. I have a few 5's and 7's left but no 3's. Seeing as how I've only done two tattoos I'm not sure I'd be comfortable doing tight line work with a #5..I know it's not off by much but tattoos are forever and if rather not gamble and mess up. The pictures I posted are #1 First tattoo I did when it was finished, day 1, #2 The outline for my 2nd tattoo is little Goku on Nimbus from Dragonball, #3 is that tattoo today, about 5 days later and #4 is also a picture from today, about 5 days later almost healed. I'm not a professional but other then a few spots that I'm unhappy with the black I used was not the black that came with the kit, but I still have a few spots that didn't get all the way filled in. The color on Goku is ok, chances are I'll redo some of it. If like to go back and put more white in the eyes although white can be hard to show well, also nimbus needs more yellow and orange in highlights and Goku needs blue on his tunic. I'm very happy that my first two tattoos ever turned out this well. A tip if I may, have someone pull your skin tight while tattooing yourself, if not it won't come out right. I used 6.5 on the power supply when lining, for filling in I think i bumped it up to 7 or 7.5. ALSO very IMPORTANT regardless of the companies response on the reviews stating their kit has 40 needles in responses to questions such as the question - "What needles should be used to tattoo a rabbit ear, for showing. I'm used to a pen that has a single needle (single point)" The seeker responded as such - "The tattoo pen kit Comes WITH 40 CARTRIDGE NEEDLES (3RL, 5RL, 5RM, 7RM, EACH MODEL FOR 10 PIECES..... Again I focused on the reviews more then reading the contents but anyway you slice it the other still responded that each lot Comes with 40 needles, 10 of each type. Had I known I might have shopped around for a different kit and invested a few more dollars. Other then this highly frustrating, misleading post I love the machine. Every thing about it is perfect for a beginner in my opinion. The power supply works great, the pen is quiet, the foot pedal works great and the ease of popping a needle in the pen is quick and simple. Each one is in its own little bubble pack although they could have listed the numbers on the back because to see what your about to use you have to look at it closely in the back and it'll have a number etched on it. Anyways again if they hadn't posted it had 40 needles when in fact it's only 20 and only 3 types, not the 4 it says then I would have given this a 5 out of 5 for durability, ease of use, clean packaging, contents organization, well made pen, well made power supply with digital read out etc but again missing 20 needles is a huge deal when it comes to single use, sanitized products. If you stick with me this long, thank you and happy tattooing! ... show more
