It has a very substantial feeling rubberized backing. This is not a cheap looking and feeling stiff rug with a hard back similar to what you find at big box stores. This rug is flexible, super soft, easy to clean and move around. It is not a formal rug nor is it deep pile. It lays nice on floor, a few minor creases that will work out with time. It has a nice weight to it. Will definitely purchase again for other rooms. Although not thick very comfortable and feels soft. Fits great and good quality seems easy to clean and no smell. Not sure about slip resistant should be OK. Very good looking rug and we bought two.

Perfect rug! It is really soft and looks so beautiful in my living room! It rolled out well with no smell and the wrinkles smoothed out very easily. It is thin which is expected for a washable rug but it looks great with my decor!

You guys got to stop with the pictures because they are truly misleading. Not to bad of a rug ( although is paper thin ) if your not used to buying high end rugs from choice brands. While this rug is does have a kind of velvet throw blanket feel the quality is “just ok” for me ( purchased the 7x9). It’s perfect for my kids room because of it being inexpensive I can replace it with no problem, but I’ll be honest I’ve purchased a better quality rug from AT home for 30–50$ more and comparing both finishes you can tell the difference when you are laying the carpet out. So if you are a person who’s spent over 500 bucks on a decent size rug then you are going be slightly uneasy about this purchase as I am. Looks good but the quality could be ALOT BETTER but for the price I’ll deal with it. ... show more
