This review is for the Wormhole wireless tattoo pen with kit. This was a fun and helpful kit. I am very new to “tattooing” and this kit came with several things for me to try. It comes with fake skin, several small tattoo inks, ink cups, gloves, elastic wrap, tattoo needles and of course, the boxed pen. When I first opened the kit, I was surprised and excited to see all that was included. There were only a few of each but that was plenty for me. The pen that came in teal was so pretty. That might not be important to a real tattoo artist but I thought it made a very nice first impression. The power button and speed dial are on the top of the pen. To turn the pen on I gave the power button a long press. To change speeds I just quickly hit the power button again. The speeds go from 6v to 11v. The needle depth is changed by twisting the unit. A usb cable is included.

The media could not be loaded. This set comes with everything you need to get started. I'm just in the beginning phases of learning how to tattoo, and I've tried a few different kits now. This kit includes everything you need to get started, including cartridges for lining and shading. It took a minute to figure out how to get the battery pack set up to the proper settings to run the machine, but once I did, the remaining adjustments and fine-tuning were fairly easy. The gun has an adjustable needle depth, which really helps when you're trying to learn how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins (1 2mm skin included) and intermittently shading in some decades-old scars from an old accident to try it out on actual skin. I've been looking for somewhere that does paramedical tattooing in my area for years, and failing to find a reliable provider, decided to take matters into my own hands. I was easily able to mix the ink to a flesh tone (red, blue, yellow, and white) in the included ink cups. The included gloves provided a nice germ barrier after I'd sterilized all required skin areas. This machine was easy to handle and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the needle didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the scar tissue area and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch, though it was itchier than normal as expected due to the tattoo being done over a keloid scar. Overall, this is a very user-friendly kit for someone who wants to explore tattooing and is an excellent value for the money. Plenty of ink, cartridges, and skin to practice many different styles and applications.

I use this to tattoo the ears of my show rabbits. It is not the first tattoo "pen" I have used, but it was pretty easy to figure out, even so. There are a lot of helpful videos on YouTube, which is great because this does NOT come with instructions. What you do get is several needles, ink bottles, ink cups, and practice materials. It's a great value and works really well for my needs with the bunnies!

Yes it works. No I wouldn't say it's the best that they make. But maybe it's just me. Bc I didn't like that the gun is much smaller than your average tatt gun. The accessories are "blah" your really buying the gun. As for the motor itself, it seems like Wormhole always does a tremendous job putting together a well built machine. Just for me personally, I didn't like the smaller gun is all. It works fine, but I'll prolly give it to one of the girl tattoo artists bc they tend to have smaller hands and do much better with these. Who knows, maybe I found the best one ever for one of the girls here 👌

I am very new to tattooing and have been wanting to practice. This is a nice little kit that comes with most everything you need to get started. Machine, battery, needles, paper, cups, tape and practice skin. It also comes with some ink but I'm not certain I would use the ink in my skin. It works well on the practice skin though. Not that I've seen any issues with the ink that it came with, i just would rather use some ink that I am familiar with their manufacturing standards is all. That's why i didn't mark off any for the ink. Overall a good kit. would recommend.

This is the first all-inclusive tattoo kit that I have seen in a wireless, rechargeable platform. The brand Wormhole also puts out accessories and replacement parts for this brand and appears to be creating more models after this. Included in this kit, besides the unique, compact tattoo machine itself, is a set of five small bottles of tattoo ink, a bag full of tiny cups for mixing ink and then obtaining it for the needle, some sturdy tape and gloves, a set of 10 needles, and other first aid and convenience items. This item is perhaps the easiest, most accessible kit for beginning tattoos. It includes a cord for being a charged, and functions wirelessly once the battery is full. The kit works well and the components complement each other to make for a seamless, easy tattoo making experience. I am very excited about this kit because before I found this product, it seemed very difficult and an accessible for someone to begin learning this art form. Excellent for beginners and anyone who is looking to create tattoos.
