This is a great tattoo gun. I’ve never tattooed before but I decided to dive right in and try it on myself with this one. Just skipped the practice skin. It wasn’t bad at all. It has nice control and easy to operate and charge. I had an hour session for this tattoo and it only lost one bar of battery! I would say getting high quality ink is a must. Don’t use the stuff in the kit on your skin. I would save it for the practice skin and also get better practice skin. The piece they give you is so flimsy and thin. You will also need to get your own green soap because it doesn’t come with any. The needle cartridges were great for practice but definitely get more supply if this is a frequent thing you practice at. And get more transfer paper as they only give you a little. It also doesn’t come with stencil solution so you will need your own for sure. I bought my own tegaderm for after the tattoo was finished. The kit doesn’t come with any. ... show more

Good quality. Have used it on skin about 5 times now and don’t have any issues with it. Power is good. Battery life is good. Have only have to charge it twice. Tattoos look great. Great for beginners! This was my first machine and after I purchased a different brands pack of assorted needle cartridges, it made a HUGE difference. I’m new to tattooing, so I watch a ton of videos on it and talk to other artists for pointers and tips. The machine does what it’s meant to do.

I have never tattooed before at all. The included pictures are tattoos that I have done in the last week since I got this and got started, on myself and my husband. I am NOT using the inks from the kit. I used Dynamic black ink. OMG my household is going to be covered in tattoos! I skipped the fake skin and went straight to tattooing myself and my husband. We have both had multiple tattoos done and I have been researching getting my own gun/pen for a few years now. (Number 1 thing learned, do not ever use the inks that come in starter kits on real skin. Also, if you plan to start with fake skin you'll need to buy it separately, this kit only comes with 1 small, thin piece) This pen is great! It's so easy to use and so fast. Thanks to the timer I can say that I have only had it running for a total of a little over 2 hours. Seriously y'all, it took me less than 2 hours to do all of these and it's my first 2 hours of experience. The battery charges with a basic USBC cord, included. Finally tattoo guns have caught up to current technology. If you still are using the old style of tattoo gun, it's time to catch up and move into the future with a far superior design. And if you are looking for your first tattoo pen with cartridge needles, look no further. Don't forget to get a good stencil printer. And brand name ink, I went with Dynamic. Also, another amazing thing about this pen is the wide variety of needle cartridges available from this brand. I cannot say enough about this outstanding kit, it's even affordable! ... show more

Bought this for my son's birthday and he loves it. He said it's packed with great features and tattoo modes. It comes with everything you need to do tattoos. I would suggest buying better ink because the included ink is cheap and may not stay or go in the skin well. But almost every kit like this comes with cheap ink in our experience. The included ink is great for practicing on fake skin! This doesn't mean it won't work for your skin, it just means a lot of people's skin won't take cheap ink as good as other people's skin. The battery pack is nice and provides a lot of really good features. The charge lasts for a long time. He done a 5 hour tattoo and it still had enough charge the next day for practicing on the included fake skin for several hours. Wormhole is probably the best brand here on Amazon in this price range and I was told by a professional tattooist that this tattoo machine works just as good as the more expensive name brand tattoo machines. This thing is affordable and performs amazing for the price. If your reading this review then your probably looking for a good tattoo machine at an affordable price. I just recently brought this and the tattoo gun is amazing, I just did 3 tattoos and it turned out great. The starter needles they give don’t have the round magnum needles which is good for shading but I purchased more needles and the ink they give isn’t great quality so I purchased more ink to use on my tattoos but other than that, the tattoo gun itself is great and it comes with everything you need to start out.
