  • Simple tool done well
Style: Gauge / Level
This little thing is a very simple tool. Turn it on, set it down and it tells you the angle. It's very light very compact and the LCD screen is easy to read. The best part of this is the strength of the magnet. FINALLY, someone figured out how to put a GOOD magnet in a tool! I'm blown away by this.... Its the first tool I've found that actually has a sufficient magnet! This is Klein though....their products are usually better quality than most. Wish they could inform the rest of the tool world on how to properly choose a magnet. Ive used mine quite a bit in the last month. I've dropped it several times, it looks very rough now from grease and dirt, but is still dead on. And I mean dead on. I've cleaned it a couple times with brake kleen and it doesn't bother the housing at all, and I've SOAKED it. Green or red can have no effect. I do like the auto off function. I've left it under a couple cars overnight by accident. Speaking of which, I did take a 25mile test drive, git back under the truck and found it still attached! It stayed on for the trip at 70mph! Tgis is a tool I wouldn't mind having 2 of. Just incase... ... show more

  • Accurate Angle Gauge – Perfect for Knife Sharpening
Style: Gauge / Level
The Klein Tools 935DAG Digital Electronic Level and Angle Gauge has been an excellent tool for precision work. I primarily use it with my knife sharpener to make sure I’m getting the exact angle on my blades, and it’s made a noticeable difference in consistency and sharpness. The digital readout is clear and easy to read, and it quickly measures both 0–90° and 0–180° ranges with accuracy. The magnetic base makes it easy to attach securely, and the compact size means it doesn’t get in the way while sharpening. ✅ Pros: Accurate digital readout for precise angles Measures 0–90° and 0–180° ranges Magnetic base for secure placement Compact and easy to handle Great for sharpening, woodworking, or general leveling tasks ❌ Cons: The small display might be harder to read in low light Requires batteries (included, but be sure to keep spares) 💡 Tips: Place it on your knife sharpener’s guide to ensure perfect sharpening angles. Store it in a safe spot to avoid dropping, as precise tools can be sensitive. Works great for other uses too — like setting angles on saw blades or woodworking tools. Always calibrate before use to ensure maximum accuracy. Bottom Line: The Klein Tools 935DAG is a versatile, precise, and reliable angle gauge. It has made my knife sharpening far more consistent, and it’s a great tool to have for any project requiring accurate angle measurements. ... show more

  • Must need tool for fabrication
Style: Gauge / Level
A tool that every fabricator should own. Easy to use, breaks down the angle to .1 of a degree. Can zero it out for good accuracy to the part you are trying to fit up. Highly recommend this purchase for any welder/fabricator.

  • Good quality but could use a few improvements
Style: Gauge / Level
Seems to be good quality like most Klein brand tools are, but it could use a few features to make it more convenient, such as: Rechargeable: Uses 2 AAA batteries (which were included). It would be more convenient if it was rechargeable instead. Access to replace batteries: Cover for battery compartment has a very small Philips head screw holding it closed which is also inconvenient and easily lost at a job site. Make the cover snap shut instead. If not then at least make the screw captive. Switchable on/off magnetic base: Magnetic bottom is powerful but would be better if the magnet could be switched on/off the way mag-base indicator holders or magnetic chucks on surface grinders operate so that metal shavings and other trash that keep it from sitting flat could be wiped off more easily. More magnetic surfaces: A magnetic back surface would be a handy addition. Unit comes with a nylon case, but the case has no means of attaching to one's belt. This makes it pretty useless. Add a belt loop or clip to it (like on a tape measure) to make it useful or just delete it and reduce price. ... show more

  • Klein Digital Angle Gauge
Style: Gauge / Level
Arrived fast. Works great, I use it to verify and set angles on my tablesaw, bandsaw and miter saw. I also have one at the shop to verify vehicle frame angles when performing wheel alignments. Small and lightweight but easily readable with its bright screen. Magnetic to allow for it to hold itself to the frame of the vehicle, saw blades, or tables and then I can just stick it to the outside of my cabinet or tool box for easy access the next time I need it. It is also significantly less expensive than some of the purpose built options for measuring frame angle. Very useful tool when you need to measure or verify angles but don't want to use a protractor. ... show more
