I haven’t had this for long, so my review might change if problems pop up, but right off the bat I’m super impressed by this light. It’s extremely bright and these magnets and the way you can move it around and rotate the light is a lifesaver. The magnets are super strong too. I had it underneath my hood and forgot it was there and closed the hood and took the vehicle for a test drive after changing my radiator fluid and when I got home and popped the hood it was still there. I was very surprised with the weight, build quality, and overall brightness of this light. Ordered in a bit of a pinch as I needed to look around under the paneling on the bottom of my wife’s SUV to repair something, and I didn’t have a light I could use hands free. Arrived promptly, and in good condition. I can’t believe how bright and wide-spread the light is out of this thing. Completely functional as a single unit, I imagine two of these under a hood might be TOO bright, in fact. I was able to finish that job, over the course of a few hours, and didn’t have any drip in performance. The light is bright and the magnets are strong. Also the low light mode is really bring when working on your engine bay, i dont see having to use the high mode at all. There are alot of sellers selling this type of light for $30 with just a different color, but this one is different because it has a “motion sensor” for “auto on/off”. What i didnt notice in the description was that if you turn off the light with the motion sensor, AFTER 30 SECONDS THE LIGHT FULLY TURNS OFF. That means you have to manually press the button again. I wanted this feature so that i dont have to physically touch the light with my oily hands while working on my car. But whats the point if you use the motion sensor to turn it off, and when you leave and come back you gotta manually turn it on ... show more

This light is very cool! It is super bright. I love that it is rechargeable and has the magnetic options, as well as a hook to hang. The fact that the light can also swivel is so cleaver! It also looks good enough to be out on display! Looks right at home on my metal pegboard. This is also a great addition as an earthquake kit or power outage item!
