This product will be used for residential work such as lawn care, yard maintenance, household projects. Durability, fit, price and comfort all are factored into my decision to purchase. The only missing factor was they are “water resistant” instead of “waterproof” as I will be using them occasionally in wet weather but the other factors outweighed the waterproof factor. The boots arrived looking like they were new as they were. Leather appears to be significantly thicker than I expected. They smelled great! Wearing them right now and they are comfortable. However, it's too soon to determine how waterproof and durable they are. Check with me later....

I didn't quite know my size in men's so is a bit big but not blister causing so I just shoved some tissue in the toes. I put them on and immediately knew rhis was the good stuff! They're delightfully heavy good architecture support and I like how they're snug on the ankles I know that'll keep snow out! Ordering, add half a size. These are great, plenty of toe room and lace to the strength/support you would like. Past boots I thot the more you spend the better the boot? Maybe, if you don't want to change for years but they wear down. My last Carhartts were expensive and squeezed my foot enough after a year, toes are starting to overlap. A sales "person" said, "they will stretch" !!!!! Yeah but in the meantime you have blisters and hurts to walk! I have had these new boots for 3 months now, I work outside. They look great, ARE waterproof and durable so far.....but who wants a 5 year boot? I change every year, thats all I can say. ... show more

I thought I was buying the Ever boots which I have bought two times before because they were an extremely comfortable work boot, especially for the price but I received these boots and I noticed they were very similar but not the Ever boots I purchased before. They are comfortable at first but my feet were in great pain by lunch time so I got Dr. Scholls inserts and they still caused pain in my feet. If I didn’t wear them to work for 2 days I would have returned them. I was misled to believe I was buying Ever Boots. Fortunately they only cost $55. The last 2 pairs of Ever Boots I purchased were around $70 and the most comfortable boots I have ever worn with no break in period. I am a commercial carpenter and they lasted almost 18months. I wish I could buy the Ever Boots again and not these boots. Very disappointing experience. ... show more

The boots are nice and fit well but the welt is not solid enough. You will feel gravel and rocks as you walk on them. The welt is also the newer foam style rubber so it won't last on paved surfaces. Also no arch.
