This shredder is small but that is all I need for occasional shredding. It will not cut anything but paper so no cards or cd's or staples. I wish the top would attach to the bottom bin so you could move it easier without it coming apart.

After looking over the reviews which were excellent, and the pricing was great, I decided to order this new supposedly paper shredder. It came today as promised when I opened it up and remove the top section where the blades are there were several pieces of micro shredded paper in the blades. I have yet to turn it on and try it but I’m hoping it’s going to work properly because I ordered a new one and it looks like it’s used. The top section came wrapped in plastic, so there’s no chance that this was packaging shreds in the blades ... show more

We were so pleased when we got our new shredder. We love the white for a change - looks good with any decor, but the way it works is really nice - not too loud and just place the paper in and off it goes. Love how tiny the pieces are. So glad we bought.

This shredder thus far has performed as discribed. I highly recommend that one gather all you paper work for shredding together and not run the machine continuously as advertised it shuts down during to heat. So make your shredding tasks small bits with cool down time in between.
