Set up was really easy downloaded the app turn to the device on turned on Bluetooth on my phone and I was paired and good to go. The label tape it comes with sticks to cardboard boxes just fine which is what I'm using it for what more could you ask for $15

Works good if you receive a good one. One I got, the label got stuck and wouldn’t print anything anymore. Customer service and warranty was good, they replaced it. But the quality wasn’t there, I tried cleaning, and following their instructions and increasing density, but print quality was still not deep or dark enough. I bought another one cause I saw labels that were dark from before, and you know what, it is. The image I attached is both regular density. One is good, one isn’t. I use it to label my kid’s stuff for school. Very easy to use. I also use it on wiring for my car.

I love this little label printer. It was my very first Phomemo purchase and, in my opinion, the most simple labeler in their lineup. The D30 is a basic labeler for basic labeling, LOL! I say that because the "spice" for these little printers comes from the many different label options within the 12MM range. You have continuous or cut label options. The print quality is not bad for a simple, cheap labeler alternative, but it is important to keep your expectations within reason, especially if you wish to enjoy your purchase. I have enjoyed using this printer immensely and use it for basic labeling needs as you can see on from the pictures. It is rechargeable, portable and has many label options. The software is very simple and you have many font, border and emoji options. When you connect the printer to your phone, the app Print Master opens to printer-specific options. That's very important to remember since a label you may have worked on and printed on the M960 will not show when you connect the D30 and vice-versa. Overall, it's a great buy for basic labeling. Chage lasts a long time and label options are varied. It's great!!!!

Surprisingly good! Fast and quiet, the battery lasts longer than expected, and the app used to design labels is easy to use and fully-featured. The color is also a good one and it's very compact, so leaving it out isn't distracting or a waste of space.

Requires the Printmaster app. The free Lite version only allows basic Arial font text. The Pro version is $6.99 a month or $29.99 a year in order to use other fonts or designs. Labels are small and thermal printed, so they will fade or the paper darken over time. Ok for basic stuff, but I do not like the required app. I'll stick with my Dymo or Brother labeler.

Lower cost printer, 4.8 star rated companion app, and rolls of continuous labels for $4 and change each. The print quality isn't perfect, but they're durable once printed, which matters more to me, as cable labels. I'm planning to use this to label network infrastructure endpoints, patch cables, and thumb drives. Love that it can generate QR codes on the fly, combined with an easily-aligned three lines of text. Stores away easily, and is usable as quick as your smartphone turns on. The dark grey is so welcome over the pastel colors.

Don’t waste your money. Total junk. It pretty 4 labels after wasting half of the roll of labels. Then it either prints nothing (blank) most of the time, or if you get lucky and it actually prints it cuts off half of the image/words or only prints part of it. (Example it prints the words but not the little design, or it prints half a word and not the border, etc). It was also supposed to come with 3 rolls of labels. I got one “trial” roll which was half the amount of labels as it was supposed to be. The roll is so thin and loosely wound that it gets jammed up every 1-2 times and you end up having to rip those off and wasting them. Save your money and use a sharpie or buy a different label maker. The image is also so tiny and blurry it’s basically not readable. The labels are barely sticky so they fall off of everything anyway. Avoid the frustration and just don’t buy it. I missed the return window thinking I could mess with it and get it to work. I also want to note that it’s not user error. The app is the one that it tells you to download, I am choosing the correct label size, and I’m printing in the correct parameters of where it says to create your label. When you try to create an account with your phone number it says you can’t us a US phone number. If you use your email address it says there is an error and to try again later (every time). Most of not all of the language is in broken English (which I wouldn’t care as long as it actually worked). Do better Amazon, the last 3 out of 5 things I’ve purchased have either been broken, not as described, or total junk.
